Conference on promoting investment and tourism development in Ha Nam province in 2024

In recent years, Ha Nam tourism industry has effectively exploited its potentials and strengths, promoting tourism development; in the first 9 months of 2024 alone, Ha Nam welcomed 4.2 million visitors.

On that basis, the delegates suggested a number of issues for Ha Nam to develop tourism better such as: strengthening promotion and investment in tourism infrastructure; training human resources; preserving and promoting traditional cultural values; developing smart tourism...

In particular, Ha Nam needs to pay attention to applying digital technology, training high-quality human resources; have preferential mechanisms and policies to attract investment; mobilize resources to develop tourism in a green and sustainable direction.

To contribute to the development of Ha Nam tourism in the coming time, the delegates also proposed to the leaders of Ha Nam province a number of issues that need to be overcome such as: traffic connection; policies to attract tourists; creating conditions for businesses to invest in exploiting agricultural and rural tourism services; exploiting river tourism; orientation to exploit night tourism...

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ha Nam, the Department of Tourism of Binh Dinh province and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ha Giang province signed a cooperation agreement to develop tourism in the coming time.

On this occasion, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Nam province and representatives of investors, corporations and enterprises operating in the field of tourism and travel signed a cooperation agreement on tourism development between Ha Nam province and the units.

To strengthen cooperation in tourism development, concretize the policies and working programs between provincial leaders and localities, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ha Nam, the Department of Tourism of Binh Dinh province and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ha Giang province signed a cooperation agreement on tourism development in the coming time.

The province is also paying attention and focusing on developing the night-time economy; continuing to call for investors to realize the goal that by 2026 Ha Nam will have more accommodation facilities and train high-quality human resources; at the same time, focusing on building more types of tourism in Tam Chuc National Tourist Area. Ha Nam has also been focusing resources on investing in transport infrastructure; enhancing the quality of human resources and communications for tourism and always determining to accompany and create conditions for investors with specific, unique, and attractive tourism products to meet the needs of tourists.
