Conference on the National Target Program for Cultural Revival and Development, Building Vietnamese People

On August 4, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha chaired a national online conference to listen to reports on goals, tasks and solutions under the National Target Program (NTP) on cultural revival and development, building Vietnamese people in the 2026-2030 period, with a vision to 2045. Attending the conference at the provincial bridge point were comrade Nguyen Long Bien, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of departments, branches, sectors and localities.

The National Target Program on Cultural Rejuvenation and Development, Building Vietnamese People for the period 2026-2030, with a vision to 2045, is built on the basis of practical experience in implementing the National Target Program on Culture in previous periods as well as strategic orientations for cultural and human development in the current period, aiming to create a driving force to arouse and promote cultural values and the strength of Vietnamese people, meeting the requirements of sustainable national development. The draft program includes 9 project groups: Developing Vietnamese cultural and human personality; building a healthy and civilized cultural environment, developing a synchronous and effective infrastructure system, landscape, and cultural institutions; improving the effectiveness of cultural information, propaganda and education; preserving and promoting the values of national cultural heritage; promoting the development of literature and arts; developing cultural industries; promoting digital transformation and application of scientific and technological achievements in the field of culture; Developing cultural human resources; international integration, absorbing the quintessence of human culture and spreading Vietnamese cultural values to the world. The capital mobilized for the 2026-2030 period is expected to be 108,000 billion VND.

Comrade Nguyen Long Bien, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee attended the conference at the provincial bridge.

Concluding the conference, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha affirmed that this is a large, important, urgent program that guides and leads the revival and development of Vietnamese culture and people. Therefore, he requested the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to continue to coordinate with relevant departments, ministries and branches, consult with scientists, theorists, cultural and artistic experts; synthesize proposals and recommendations from localities. From there, research, edit and complete the contents, goals, tasks and solutions to submit to the Government and the National Assembly for consideration.
