Online conference to disseminate the Electricity Law and documents detailing the implementation of the Electricity Law

On the morning of April 4, the Ministry of Industry and Trade held an online conference to disseminate the Electricity Law (amended) and the Document detailing the implementation of the Electricity Law. Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hoang Long chaired. At the Bac Ninh bridge, comrade Le Xuan Loi, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired. Also attending were leaders of relevant departments, branches and units.

Overview of the Conference at Bac Ninh bridge

The Electricity Law (amended) was promulgated by the National Assembly on November 30, 2024, effective from February 1, 2025, consisting of 9 Chapters and 81 Articles. Immediately after being approved by the National Assembly, the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued many relevant documents, Circulars and regulations; Urgently implementing measures to implement the Electricity Law so that the Law can soon come into effect, promptly resolving the most fundamental issues/bottlenecks at present. Up to this point, the work of drafting legal documents accompanying the amended Electricity Law has basically been completed.

At the conference, delegates were introduced to regulations on planning and investment; Development of renewable energy and new energy; Regulations on licenses; Regulations related to market regulation and electricity prices and regulations on electrical safety. Thereby, timely dissemination of new and breakthrough contents of the Electricity Law to a large number of officials, civil servants, employees, people and businesses; Contributing to providing information, preparing a new momentum for a movement to promote investment and new construction for the Electricity industry, contributing to achieving the goal of national energy security.
