On the morning of May 15, the National Steering Committee for the Search, Collection and Identification of Martyrs' Remains held a conference to review the implementation of the Prime Minister's Decisions on policies and regimes and the work of ensuring organizations and individuals performing the task of searching for and collecting martyrs' remains. Senior Lieutenant General Vo Minh Luong, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Central Military Commission, Deputy Minister of National Defense, Deputy Head of the National Steering Committee for the Search, Collection and Identification of Martyrs' Remains (Steering Committee 515) attended and chaired the conference.
Comrade Duong Van Hue, Deputy Director of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, Deputy of the Provincial Steering Committee 515 chaired the Thanh Hoa province bridge.

In recent times, the Prime Minister's Decisions on policies and guarantees for organizations and individuals performing the task of searching for and collecting martyrs' remains have demonstrated the attention of the Party, the State, all levels, sectors, localities and units; giving priority to ensuring resources. Policies and regimes are fully, promptly and for the right subjects; budget is arranged, managed and used for the right purposes; means and equipment are effectively managed, exploited and used to create favorable conditions for performing the task of searching for and collecting martyrs' remains.
From 2013 to present, the whole country has searched for and collected 21,228 martyrs' remains (10,283 in Vietnam, 3,365 in Laos, 7,580 in Cambodia), partly meeting the expectations of the people and relatives of martyrs' families, contributing to firmly consolidating the people's trust in the Party and State's guidelines, policies and strategies.
National Steering Committee 515 has deployed activities to search for and collect martyrs' remains at 3 levels (commune, district, province) and in Cambodia and Laos seriously, closely, in accordance with the policies of the governments of the countries. Repaired, restored and embellished 5 monuments of "Vietnam - Laos Solidarity and Combat Alliance"; 23 "Vietnam - Cambodia" friendship monuments.
The Ministry of National Defense has coordinated with the Ministry of Finance and relevant authorities to report to the Prime Minister to promptly ensure funding of more than 4,200 billion VND and 106 vehicles to carry out activities to search for and collect martyrs' remains.
At the conference, delegates discussed and clarified difficulties and obstacles in the implementation process and proposed many measures to continue improving the quality of searching and collecting martyrs' remains and implementing policies and regimes for organizations and individuals in performing their tasks.
At the conference, the National Steering Committee 515 commended 26 groups and 27 individuals with outstanding achievements in directing and implementing policies and regimes and ensuring the search and collection of martyrs' remains.
