In 2023, traffic safety and order were promptly and effectively implemented by departments, agencies, and localities, especially during peak periods like holidays and Tet (Lunar New Year). Effective communication, commitment signing, and the application of information technology in traffic safety and order were carried out by relevant agencies. As a result, traffic safety and order improved, and people's awareness of traffic laws increased. Coordination among agencies to resolve and handle traffic violations was maintained effectively. Maintenance and repair of traffic infrastructure, addressing "black spots," and supplementing and repairing traffic signs on roads were also given timely attention and action.

Concluding the conference, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that members of the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee, departments, agencies, and the People's Committees of districts and cities strengthen their guidance, inspection, and supervision of the implementation of solutions in their respective areas and fields of management; promote propaganda, patrols, control, and management of vehicles, and ensure traffic infrastructure. Specifically, it is necessary to analyze data, assess causes, identify potential shortcomings, and focus on addressing them to reduce traffic accidents. A roadmap for improving infrastructure and rational planning should be developed to limit the concentration of vehicles on the same road. Review and address shortcomings and traffic safety "black spots"; focus on targeted and effective propaganda to change the awareness of road users. During patrols, concentrate on areas and roads with high traffic volume and high risk of traffic accidents. Review and propose solutions to ensure traffic safety conditions for the Cam Lam - Vinh Hao expressway before its operation. Continue to manage transportation and driver's license testing to ensure compliance with regulations and safe operation; improve transportation infrastructure to meet development trends; and develop a plan for parking areas in the inner city of Phan Rang - Thap Cham. Local authorities need to focus on planning and proposing suitable land for transportation; ensuring safe transportation options for workers in industrial zones and clusters. Expedite the handover of completed roads for management to minimize traffic accident risks.
