Conference to review and implement the plan to organize Ninh Binh Festival 2023

On the afternoon of November 2, the Organizing Committee of the 2nd Ninh Binh Festival in 2023 held a conference to review and evaluate the progress of the implementation of the task of organizing the Ninh Binh Festival in 2023 according to Plan No. 156/KH-UBND dated October 12, 2023 of the Provincial People's Committee, and at the same time deploy the next tasks of the Organizing Committee.

Comrade Tong Quang Thin, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee of the 2nd Ninh Binh Festival 2023 chaired the conference. Also attending the conference were members of the Organizing Committee.

The 2nd Ninh Binh Festival in 2023 with the theme "Heritage Colors - Convergence and Spread". This year's Festival with a series of unique and special cultural activities, lasting from late November to early December 2023 in Ninh Binh City and Hoa Lu District.

Activities within the framework of the Festival include key events and activities such as: The opening program scheduled at Trang An Scenic Area (Hoa Lu District) will be broadcast live on VTV, Vietnam Television, Ninh Binh Radio and Television; the Northern cultural heritage program; the Central and Southern cultural heritage program; the closing program of the Festival "Fiery Ancient Capital".

Events and activities include: Exhibition "Cultural heritage space and traditional handicraft products" and art exchange program "Heritage colors"; summary, award ceremony, opening of Ninh Binh art photo exhibition 2023; organization of "Space for promoting and connecting OCOP products associated with regional tourism activities in Ninh Binh"; exhibition introducing products, goods, trade and services of the Young Entrepreneurs Association; Xam singing festival - Ninh Binh 2023; international badminton tournament "FELET Vietnam International Series 2023"; Trang An Marathon cross-country race 2023.

This is an important cultural and tourism event to promote cultural exchange activities, honor heritage, promote and advertise tourism.

Through that, it contributes to promoting the image, cultural heritage, people of the province and regions across the country to domestic and international friends, serving tourism development.

Recognizing the important role and significance of the event, all levels, sectors, localities and the business community have promoted the spirit of responsibility, made efforts, and urgently prepared good conditions for organization, ensuring the right progress and achieving high efficiency.

In particular, the units have developed detailed plans for each activity; surveyed the construction area of the stage to renovate the Festival's road; developed a plan to arrange about 7,000 seats for the opening ceremony; and a plan to ensure electricity for the opening ceremony...

Speaking at the conclusion of the conference, Comrade Tong Quang Thin, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee of the 2nd Ninh Binh Festival in 2023, agreed with the members of the Organizing Committee on the next tasks in organizing the Festival.

He requested the members of the Organizing Committee to promptly and effectively implement the specific functions and tasks of their units in accordance with regulations to ensure that the 2nd Ninh Binh Festival 2023 is successfully organized with a new approach and on a large scale.

It is especially necessary to pay attention to doing a good job of communication work on mass media of domestic news agencies, newspapers, visual propaganda and social networking platforms, bringing about a widespread effect among the people and friends at home and abroad.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also agreed on a number of contents related to the time of the opening ceremony; organizing a press conference about the Festival; and a number of other contents related to ensuring security and order, traffic safety, ensuring electricity, environmental sanitation, festival decoration... determined to successfully organize the Ninh Binh Festival 2023 worthy of its stature, honoring and promoting heritage values, building a unique cultural brand of Ninh Binh province.
