On the afternoon of March 11, the 2025 Conference of Office Employees of Vietnam National Shipping Lines (VIMC) took place with the participation of Comrade Le Anh Son - Chairman of the Board of Directors; Comrade Nguyen Canh Tinh - General Director; Comrade Le Phan Linh - Chairman of the Corporation's Trade Union, Comrade Tran Tuan Hai - Chairman of the Corporation's Office Trade Union and comrades in the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, the Board of Directors, the Board of General Directors, Heads of professional departments and all employees of the Corporation's office. The conference unanimously elected the Presidium including Comrade Nguyen Canh Tinh and Comrade Tran Tuan Hai together with the Conference Secretary to direct and approve the working program.
Conference overview
At the conference, delegates watched a report summarizing the contents that need to be announced and the results of implementing the regime and policies for employees in 2024; reported the results of the survey on employee satisfaction and engagement. The conference's Presidium had a direct dialogue, answered questions, and received comments to improve working conditions, benefits, and create conditions for career development for officers and employees.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Canh Tinh - General Director of the Corporation emphasized the need for innovation in management, from problem-solving approaches to process optimization to improve operational efficiency and create a professional and sustainable working environment for employees. The General Director also directly delegated authority to specialized departments to review the current situation, evaluate employee feedback and propose appropriate solutions.

The conference also agreed on key orientations for 2025, focusing on improving the quality of advisory work, closely coordinating in inspecting and supervising the implementation of regimes and policies for workers; promoting propaganda, launching emulation movements associated with building corporate culture; caring for spiritual life, organizing meaningful activities on holidays and Tet; strengthening the development of union members and building a strong union organization.
Within the framework of the conference, the Corporation's office awarded outstanding individuals and groups in two internal competitions "VIMC - Searching for stars, shining talents" and "VIMC Check-in Challenge", contributing to promoting creativity and solidarity among staff.
