On the afternoon of April 3, the Party Executive Committee of Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee held its second conference. In the first quarter of 2025, the Party Executive Committee of the Provincial People's Committee demonstrated a proactive, determined and creative spirit in its work.

According to the assessment, in the first quarter of 2025, the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee has demonstrated a proactive, decisive and creative spirit in its work. The Party Committee quickly stabilized the organizational structure, assigned staff, and developed and issued documents for implementation.

The Party Committee has seriously focused on implementing the directives and resolutions of the Central and Provincial Party Committees. Party committees at all levels, party organizations, cadres and party members have fully recognized and promoted the role and responsibility of collectives and individuals in implementing tasks.

Delegates expressed their opinions on difficulties in recruiting and developing new party members.

Thanks to that, the socio-economic situation in the first quarter of 2025 in the province remained stable. Economic growth reached 7.7%, an increase of 0.25% compared to the first quarter plan, an increase of 1.93% compared to the same period in 2024. With this result, Dak Nong GRDP ranked 2nd in the Central Highlands region.

State budget revenue was 1,471 billion VND, reaching 52% of the central estimate, 42% of the local estimate, up 37% over the same period last year. The general rate of asphalting and hardening reached 72%/74%; the urbanization rate reached 26.2%/27%; the rate of households using electricity reached 99%.

Director of the Department of Home Affairs Do Tan Suong gave his opinion regarding the regulations on appointing cadres at the time of merger.

However, the time to establish the apparatus is not long, many regulations need to be researched, supplemented, and perfected, so there is still confusion in operation. The problems in the mechanism and policies for implementing key projects and works within and outside the budget have not been completely resolved.

Attracting non-budgetary resources continues to face difficulties. Propaganda, political and ideological education, and grasping the situation of cadres and party members have not received regular and close attention.

Concluding the conference, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee Ho Van Muoi emphasized that the socio-economic situation in the first quarter of Dak Nong had many bright spots. In the coming time, it is necessary to do well from the cadres, party building to socio-economic development of the province.
