Meeting and dialogue conference between the Provincial Party Standing Committee and businesses in 2025

On the afternoon of April 23, the Provincial Party Committee organized a meeting and dialogue between the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and enterprises in 2025. In 2024 and the first quarter of 2025, the provincial Party Committees and authorities at all levels have led, directed, and organized the implementation of goals and tasks, achieving many important results. The province's economy continues to develop steadily, with GRDP growth in 2024 reaching 6.74%, the highest since the beginning of the term. Many socio-economic indicators are higher than in 2023. In the first quarter of 2025, GRDP growth reached 6.01%; import-export turnover increased by 67%; industrial production value increased by 39.5%; total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue increased by 9.99%; state budget revenue increased by 210%; Total tourism revenue increased by 75.2%... Many important political tasks and outstanding events were successfully organized, especially the groundbreaking and acceleration of the Dong Dang (Lang Son) - Tra Linh (Cao Bang) Expressway Project, contributing to creating momentum to promote local socio-economic development. Up to now, the whole province has over 2,100 enterprises with a registered capital of over 25,500 billion VND; there are 450 cooperatives with 3,835 members, with a total charter capital of over 1 billion VND. The total number of projects in the province is 245 projects with a total registered capital of over 33,177 billion VND approved for investment policy, granted investment registration certificates... The province has paid attention to implementing policies to support enterprises to create conditions for enterprise development.

At the conference, businesses shared effective corporate governance models, and proposed and recommended to the province a number of issues regarding the overall planning strategy for areas with great potential and strengths of the province such as agriculture, tourism, import-export, warehousing-logistics, exploitation and production of construction materials... to have available land funds for investors when coming to Cao Bang to have land funds for investment and business; continue to strongly reform institutions, simplify and eliminate unnecessary administrative procedures; review and adjust policies to support businesses that have been issued but are difficult to put into practice; promote propaganda to raise awareness among people and businesses about the importance of science and technology, especially digital transformation, application of AI in management, production and business activities; train, guide and support people and businesses to apply scientific and technological advances, digital transformation; promote the connection of 3 parties: businesses - scientists - the state; Strengthening promotion, investment in infrastructure, tourism services; issues of prices and scarcity of construction materials...

Concluding the conference, Comrade Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Quang Minh Cuong province affirmed the key role of enterprises in socio-economic development; acknowledged the efforts and contributions of the business community in the context of many difficulties. At the same time, he pledged that the province will accompany and create the most favorable conditions for enterprises to confidently invest, expand production and develop sustainably.

Emphasizing the goal of building Cao Bang province into a province with the highest happiness index, the Provincial Party Secretary outlined the development orientation of Cao Bang province based on the pillars of border gate economy, specialty agriculture, effective mineral exploitation and tourism associated with cultural preservation. The Provincial Party Secretary emphasized the need for innovation in thinking, more systematic and professional investment in management, planning and investment promotion; reviewing and resolutely revoking ineffective business and exploitation licenses; and close coordination between agencies, departments, sectors and enterprises.
