Conference to evaluate the results of organizing activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army; 35th anniversary of National Defense Day

On the morning of March 11, the Provincial Organizing Committee for Major Holidays held a conference to evaluate the results of organizing activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (VPA) (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024); the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2024) and deploy a number of activities to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Militia and Self-Defense Force (DQTV) (March 28, 1935 - March 28, 2025).

With careful and meticulous preparation, the implementation and organization of activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day achieved many outstanding results, great success, and profoundeducational significance. Propaganda work was widely deployed with more than 20 propaganda sessions, attracting 7,500 participants. Cultural and artistic activities; competitions and sports events were organized synchronously, creating a vibrant atmosphere. The work of repaying gratitude was carried out through many meaningful practical activities; mobilizing social resources to support the construction of houses for policy families, contributing to spreading the meaning of the event...

Leaders of the Provincial Military Command awarded certificates of merit from the Provincial People's Committee to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation period.

Towards the 90th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Militia and Self-Defense Forces, the Provincial Military Command coordinated with relevant agencies to carry out propaganda activities to spread the significance of the event. Accordingly, the Provincial Radio and Television Station produced a documentary film about the Militia and Self-Defense Forces in the period of 1992-2024, and organized the contest "Historical Milestones"; Ninh Thuan Newspaper opened a propaganda page, promoting articles about the tradition of the Militia and Self-Defense Forces, contributing to arousing pride and a sense of responsibility in the whole society. The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated to deploy decoration, visual propaganda, and organize art programs. The Provincial Police developed a plan to ensure security and order throughout the event, mobilizing forces to protect the area where the ceremony was held...

On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 6 collectives and 12 individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation campaign.
