Symposium on strengthening the building of party and mass organizations in private economic units

On September 14, the Provincial Party Committee of Agencies - Enterprises (CQ-DN) coordinated with the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee to organize a thematic conference on strengthening the building of party organizations (TCĐ) and unions in private economic units (KTTN).

Attending the event were comrades: Pham Van Hau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Lam Dong, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee; Luu Xuan Hai, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of Agencies and Enterprises; Standing Committees of districts and city Party Committees; leaders of relevant departments, branches and sectors and representatives of trade unions and unions of economic and social units in the province.

Up to now, the whole province has 24 grassroots party organizations in KTTN units with 337 party members participating in activities. Over 4 years (2019-2023), the TCĐs in KTTN units have admitted 26 new party members; established 3 new TCĐs and 7 youth union organizations; established 60 new trade union organizations, developed and increased 7,402 new union members in the fields of production and business, introduced nearly 1,500 outstanding union members to create sources, train, and consider admission to the Party.

At the conference, delegates discussed and gave opinions on the transfer of grassroots organizations used in KTTN units according to the areas of districts and cities to directly under the district and city Party Committees; shared limitations, difficulties, and solutions in propaganda work, mobilizing the establishment of trade unions and unions in KTTN units...; at the same time, proposed solutions to promote the role of Party committees in developing new units, solutions to mobilize the establishment of trade unions and unions in KTTN units in the locality...

Comrade Pham Van Hau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council spoke at the conference.

Speaking at the conference, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee commended and highly appreciated the leadership and direction of the district, city Party Committees and the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies and Enterprises in implementing, guiding and assisting the Party Committees at all levels in the private economic units to strive to develop the Party and establish trade unions. Thereby, many trade unions and unions in enterprises have demonstrated their roles and positions; actively contributing to the stability and development of enterprises. Regarding the tasks in the coming time, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested the district, city Party Committees and the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies and Enterprises to continue to proactively innovate the methods of leadership, direction and operation in a comprehensive and synchronous direction, closely following reality, successfully completing the tasks of Party building and building an increasingly clean and strong political system. Regarding the opinion on transferring a number of Party organizations in the KTTN units headquartered in districts and cities currently under the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies and Enterprises to the Party Committees of districts and cities, the comrade assigned the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies and units to conduct comprehensive surveys, grasp the situation of operations, functions, roles, and working relationships between branches and Party organizations in the KTTN units with localities to have a plan to advise the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee to direct appropriate transfers to ensure effective implementation of political tasks in the spirit of Resolution No. 21-NQ/TW dated June 16, 2022 of the Central Executive Committee (term XIII).
