The 43rd Conference of the Ha Giang City Party Committee

On the morning of April 9, the Executive Committee of the Ha Giang City Party Committee, term XVIII, 2020-2025, held the 43rd expanded conference to evaluate the results of the first quarter and deploy key directions and tasks for the second quarter of 2025. Comrade Chung Thi Chien, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee chaired the conference.

The conference approved the Report on the results of the leadership and direction of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and the work of Party building and the political system in the first quarter; key directions and tasks in the second quarter of 2025; Report on the implementation of socio-economic development tasks in the first quarter of 2025; key directions and tasks in the second quarter of 2025. Assessing the work of Party building and the political system in the first months of the year, Party committees and authorities from the city to the grassroots level, in conjunction with the role and responsibility of the leaders, maintained and promoted solidarity, unity, strived to overcome all difficulties, determined, flexible, and creative in leadership, direction, and scientific implementation, ensuring the quality and progress of assigned goals, targets and tasks. The results of socio-economic development in the city, out of a total of 51 targets, 3 targets exceeded the plan, 26 targets reached over 20%. In particular, trade and service activities were bustling, attracting tourists with the number of over 635,000 people, an increase of more than 7% over the same period. Comprehensively implementing solutions to collect the State budget, disburse national target programs, key projects; promoting administrative reform, digital transformation, poverty reduction programs, eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses. In the first quarter, the city also completed the merger and reorganization of agencies and units according to the policies of the Central and the province.

The conference also conducted a question-and-answer session within the Party. Opinions focused on analyzing and evaluating the shortcomings and limitations in Party building, the political system and socio-economic development tasks in the first quarter of 2025. At the same time, key solutions were proposed to achieve targets and tasks in the second quarter, emphasizing the contents of compensation for site clearance, disbursement of national target programs, urban order management, land management, especially Resolution 18 and central and provincial directives on restructuring and streamlining the apparatus.

On this occasion, many collectives and individuals received certificates of merit from the Ha Giang City Party Committee for achieving the standard of "Excellent completion of tasks" for 5 consecutive years, from 2020 - 2024./.
