At the conference, delegates reviewed the tradition, development process, roles, tasks, and important contributions of the Vietnam Lawyers Association to the cause of building a Socialist rule-of-law state in Vietnam, developing a market economy, and international integration...

Dong Nai Provincial Lawyers Association was established in 1989, from 30 initial members to now the whole province has nearly 1,800 members participating in activities at 15 branches under the Provincial Association and 11 District Associations.

At the conference, Chairman of the Provincial Bar Association Phan Van Chau called on all members and Bar Association organizations in the province to unite and be determined to build a common home to successfully carry out the tasks assigned by the Central and the province such as: gathering members; policy criticism; judicial reform, administrative procedures; international cooperation; disseminating laws to people and businesses; participating in grassroots mediation, etc.

Attending and speaking at the ceremony, Vice President of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Luu Thi Ha expressed that in the coming time, the Lawyers Association organizations in the province will gather more and more talented, dedicated, and passionate members, patriotic emulation movements, and advanced examples launched by the Association, the province, and the Central Government. In particular, the Association is not only a common home for members but also a place to spread many works, movements, and typical examples in the work of propaganda, dissemination of legal education, and legal aid for people and businesses.
