Chau Thanh District Association for the Promotion of Education: Handing over a house for the promotion of education to a poor student's family in Thien My commune

On March 30, the Chau Thanh District Association for the Promotion of Education coordinated with the Party Committee, People's Committee, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thien My Commune to hand over a house for the promotion of education to the family of a student, Mr. Ly Thanh Tung, An Tap Hamlet, Thien My Commune. The house was completed with a total construction cost of nearly 80 million VND, sponsored by Mr. Huynh Thanh Sang, mobilizing donors. During the house handover ceremony, donors also presented additional furniture, rice, necessities, etc. to Mr. Tung's family.

In addition, the donors also contributed 20 gifts to the students, and gave them desks and notebooks with a total cost of over 13 million VND.

According to Ms. Pham Thi Dao - Vice President of Chau Thanh District's Association for the Promotion of Education, in 2024, through the District Association for the Promotion of Education, Mr. Huynh Thanh Sang mobilized the construction of 2 houses for the promotion of education, with a total value of over 160 million VND. Continuing that humanitarian gesture, this year Mr. Sang mobilized funds to support a house for Mr. Tung's family. From this support, the District Association for the Promotion of Education has contributed to eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses for people from poor and near-poor households who are concerned about housing.
