Quang Nam Province Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs Hands Over Gratitude Houses

The house of gratitude was supported with 60 million VND from the Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs of Quang Nam province, and was handed over to the family of Ms. Dinh Thi Ba, in An Loi Tay village (Dai Nghia commune, Dai Loc).

Ba is the daughter of martyr Phan Thi Hai, who sacrificed her life in the fight against the US. She was posthumously awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces and the title of Heroic Vietnamese Mother by the Party and State.

The Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs of Quang Nam Province was established in 2024. The Association held its first Congress for the 2024 - 2029 term in December 2024.

The Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs in Quang Nam Province is a social organization operating on a voluntary basis with the aim of supporting martyrs' families to access and implement the regimes and policies of the Party and State, helping martyrs' families collect information to search for the remains of martyrs who are still lost or whose identities have not been determined by DNA testing, and moving the remains of martyrs to their hometown cemeteries according to the wishes of the families.

The Association also participates in researching and proposing to State management agencies solutions to implement policies and regimes to honor and show gratitude to martyrs and their relatives; provide material support and spiritual encouragement to families of martyrs facing many difficulties...

Since its establishment, the Association has mobilized support to build 3 gratitude houses, with a support level of 60 million VND/house; supported the search and transfer of 3 martyrs' remains from other localities to cemeteries in the province according to the wishes of the martyrs' families.
