Delegates hope that in the coming time, the Youth Unions of the four provinces will continue to strengthen education and propaganda work so that youth union members understand the traditional relationship, special friendship and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries; continue to organize activities to exchange work experiences; promote volunteer activities; increase twinning activities and mutual assistance between youth union organizations...

Speaking at the meeting, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang emphasized that preserving and developing the good friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos is not only a tribute to and continuation of the past, but also has important strategic significance in the process of protecting revolutionary achievements and developing the two countries.
At the same time, he hoped that the youth unions of the four provinces would continue to focus on propaganda and education to raise awareness, emotions, promote the youth and intelligence of young people in protecting and developing the special friendship between Vietnam and Laos.
Along with that, the youth unions of the four provinces need to continue to implement good practices to develop the Vietnam - Laos relationship to new heights in all contents and areas of cooperation; focus on directing the twinning between the youth unions of the provinces; continue to coordinate and improve the effectiveness of propaganda work, border protection, border markers, border security; contribute youth efforts to prevent illegal migration, human trafficking, drug trafficking, smuggling in border areas...

At the program, representatives of the youth unions of 4 provinces: Quang Tri, Savannakhet, Salavan, Sekong signed a memorandum of understanding with 5 main content groups. In particular, some important tasks in the coming time are: Continuing to educate union members and children to understand more deeply about the traditions and good relationships between Vietnam and Laos, between Quang Tri province and the provinces: Savannakhet, Salavan, Sekong; leading and directing district unions, affiliated youth unions of the provinces and youth unions in military, police, and customs units on duty on the border to increase exchanges, cooperation and mutual assistance in study and work; continuing to maintain friendship meetings between the youth of the 4 provinces in appropriate forms and schedules; paying attention to innovating the content and forms of activities, enhancing experience exchange, improving the quality of union work and youth movements between the provinces...
