Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said the meeting between the Russian and Turkish leaders took place in a highly constructive spirit and the discussion in the resort city of Sochi lasted an hour and a half longer than expected.

The agenda includes the situation in Ukraine, Syria, Libya, the grain deal and the creation of a gas hub in Türkiye.

Speaking at the start of talks with his Turkish counterpart Tayyip Erdogan, Russian President Vladimir Putin affirmed that the two leaders had raised bilateral relations to "a very good and very high level".
