The Provincial Association of Former Teachers celebrated its 20th anniversary.

Attending the ceremony were leaders and former leaders of the Department of Education and Training through the periods; leaders of the Department of Education and Training of districts and cities; representatives of branches and members of the Provincial Association of Former Teachers.

During 20 years of construction and development, the Provincial Association of Former Teachers has achieved many remarkable achievements, gathering experienced officials and teachers of the provincial education sector to continue to contribute to education and training, the work of promoting learning and talent and building a learning society in the province.

Up to now, the Association has developed widely with 7 districts, cities, 131/137 communes, wards and towns having Association organizations and 10 branches under the Provincial Association, attracting over 6,500 members. The Association has become a strong organization, a meaningful place for retired teachers to participate, actively contributing to the education and socio-economic development of the province.

Leaders of the Department of Education and Training presented flowers and gifts to congratulate the Provincial Association of Former Teachers.

With the results of the past 20 years of operation, the Association has been awarded 3 emulation flags for excellent units and 58 certificates of merit by the Vietnam Association of Retired Teachers; the People's Committee of Tuyen Quang province awarded 48 certificates of merit to collectives and individuals with many achievements; the provincial association awarded 350 certificates of merit to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the Association's activities.

On this occasion, the Provincial Association of Former Teachers organized a ceremony to reward collectives and individuals with achievements in the association's work.
