The Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) has just consulted and recognized the Vietnam Association of Former People's Police Officers and the Vietnam Association of Notaries as members of the VFF, at the 10th Conference, term IX, on the morning of September 5.
Presenting the report, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Nguyen Huu Dung said that the Presidium has submitted to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for consideration and recognition as member organizations for two organizations: the Vietnam Association of Former People's Police Officers and the Vietnam Association of Notaries.

According to Mr. Dung, the Vietnam Association of Former People's Police Officers and the Vietnam Association of Notaries are eligible to be considered for recognition as member organizations of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at the Central level.
In particular, the Vietnam People's Police Veterans Association was established in August 2023 under the decision of the Ministry of Home Affairs. The Association has legal status, its own seal and account, and is self-sufficient in funding, headquarters, and means of operation.
This is an organization of generations of former Vietnamese people's police officers, operating with the aim of gathering, mobilizing, uniting, protecting the legitimate rights and interests of members; caring for and helping each other in life and promoting the fine traditions of the people's police force.
The Association also contributes to building a revolutionary, disciplined, elite, modern people's public security force, protecting national security, protecting social order and safety, and stabilizing the country's socio-economic development.
Regarding the organizational structure of the Vietnam People's Police Veterans Association, the Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front said that the congress for the 2023-2028 term of the association elected an Executive Committee of 89 people, a Standing Committee of 21 people, and a Leadership Board of 5 people.
The President of the Association is Senior Lieutenant General Le Quy Vuong, former Deputy Minister of Public Security, and there are 4 vice presidents.

The Vietnam Notary Association was approved by the Prime Minister to be established in early 2017. The Association has legal status, its own seal and account, and operates nationwide.
Regarding the organizational structure, the Standing Committee of the Association, Term II (2022-2027), consists of 15 people; the Association's Executive Board consists of 5 people, including the Association's President, Mr. Nguyen Chi Thien (Head of Notary Office No. 2, Hanoi City) and 4 Vice Presidents.
The total number of individual members is 3,337 participants, 63/63 provinces and centrally-run cities have notary associations and there are 5 supporting agencies of the National Council of Notaries.
