On September 27, the working delegation of the Provincial Red Cross Society visited, presented gifts and encouraged 41 families whose relatives died in the floods caused by Storm No. 3 in Cao Bang province.
Affected by storm No. 3 and its circulation, Cao Bang province has suffered severe consequences in terms of both human lives and property. Of these, 53 people (from 41 families) died due to landslides and flash floods. A working group from the Ninh Binh Red Cross Society came to share, encourage and present gifts to families whose relatives died with a total amount of 75 million VND. The gifts are a sharing, affection and encouragement from the people of Ninh Binh province to their compatriots who have suffered severe consequences from natural disasters.
In recent days, responding to the call of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society, the Ninh Binh Provincial Red Cross Society has directed the Red Cross Societies at all levels to step up propaganda, mobilization, and call for the participation of groups and individuals with kind hearts towards flood victims with specific and practical actions.
In addition to supporting and assisting flood victims through the reception and coordination of the Provincial Red Cross, many volunteer groups in the province have also organized trips to directly deliver essential supplies such as rice, water, medicine, etc. to people affected by floods, contributing to helping flood victims quickly overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.
