The 2024 Thanh Hoa Western Trade and Tourism Fair takes place from December 6 to 10 in Thuong Xuan.

According to information from the Organizing Committee of the 2024 Thanh Hoa Western Trade and Tourism Fair, the fair will be held for 5 days, from December 6 to 10 at the Thuong Xuan district stadium.

The fair was organized with a scale of more than 100 booths displaying and introducing typical products and tourism products of 11 mountainous districts and some localities in the province; booths of Laos and the provinces of Nghe An, Ninh Binh, Hoa Binh , Son La.

Within the framework of the fair, there will be a conference connecting supply and demand of agricultural products and food, tourism in the Western region of Thanh Hoa and many attractive cultural and artistic programs.

This is an annual activity organized by the Provincial People's Committee to promote the potential, strengths, socio -economic achievements and orientations for trade, service, tourism development, and investment attraction of mountainous districts in the coming time; at the same time, introduce and honor the beauty, cultural values, scenic spots, attractive and unique tourist areas and craft villages of the western mountainous districts to a large number of delegates and visitors.

The fair is an opportunity for people in mountainous districts to access goods and food products of origin, OCOP products.

Through events within the framework of the fair, the aim is to promote trade, introduce the image of businesses in the region, create a bridge for communication and exchange of experiences; thereby, supporting businesses, production and business establishments in the western mountainous districts to seek investment cooperation opportunities, joint ventures, and associations with organizations and businesses inside and outside the province to boost product consumption and promote production.

This activity also creates conditions for localities, organizations and businesses inside and outside the province to learn about products, tourist areas, destinations and tourism potential in the mountainous region, thereby promoting investment activities, tourism development, attracting tourists to visit and experience tourism services in the Western region of Thanh Hoa.
