Hoi An organizes many activities to celebrate 50 years of liberation

Specifically, the celebration will be held at 7:30 p.m. on March 27 at Hoi An Park with a theatrical art program and vivid real-life scenes to recreate the historical space, the values ​​of a heroic time and the achievements in the process of building and developing Hoi An.

The program is expected to feature singer Anh Tho and artists from Hoi An and Da Nang and will be broadcast live on Quang Nam Radio and Television (QRT).

Many cultural and gratitude activities were also held throughout the city such as: Exhibition, display of the city's socio-economic achievements after 50 years of liberation; camp "Hoi An Youth Following the Heroic Tradition"; candle lighting ceremony to pay tribute to heroic martyrs; meeting to pay tribute to those who participated in the resistance war; traditional meetings of sectors, units, localities, etc.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Son - Chairman of Hoi An City People's Committee, after 50 years of liberation, Hoi An is undergoing a strong transformation. The city has focused on investing in infrastructure construction, urban renovation and expansion, rural construction and development. Many architectural and cultural works, new residential areas and urban areas have been formed.

People's lives are increasingly concerned, improved and enhanced. Conditions for living, traveling, medical treatment, studying, and entertainment are significantly improved; cultural, artistic, physical education and sports activities take place vibrantly and widely; education and training develop comprehensively; science and technology, environmental protection are given attention; vocational training, job creation, poverty reduction, and care for policy beneficiaries are focused on.
