At 8:00 p.m. on March 5, a leader of Hoi An City said he was waiting for information about the delegation of billionaire Bill Gates visiting Hoi An. However, all information about the delegation's schedule has not been released to the public.

"We have only received information through the press. This afternoon, the provincial leaders contacted and asked Hoi An City to get information. If the delegation visits Hoi An ancient town as reported in the press, the city will make a welcome banner and have appropriate reception ceremonies to show hospitality," said the leader of Hoi An City.
