Candidates are admitted on the common system according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
Admission scores are taken up to 2 decimal places for consideration. If many candidates have the same admission score at the bottom of the list, the average score of grade 12 will be used as a secondary criterion from high to low.
Admission method based on high school graduation exam results in 2025
Candidates applying for the international certificate orientation program or the English Language standard program are considered for admission based on the combinations A01, D01, D07 (English score multiplied by coefficient 2). The remaining majors are considered for admission based on the combinations A00, A01, D01, D07 (Math score multiplied by coefficient 2).
Candidates are admitted on the common system according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
Admission scores are taken to 2 decimal places for consideration. If many candidates have the same admission score at the bottom of the list, the Math score will be used as a secondary criterion from high to low.
Candidates with international English certificates will have their scores converted to a 10-point scale to replace their English graduation exam scores if the converted score is higher than their graduation exam scores.
Conversion table of international English certificate scores on a 10-point scale:
TT | IELTS Academic | TOEFL iBT (Do not use Home Edition) | SAT | Convert on a 10-point scale |
1 | 5.5 | 55 – under 65 | 1050 - below 1250/1600 | 9.0 |
2 | 6.0 | 65 – under 85 | 1250 - below 1350/1600 | 9.5 |
3 | 6.5 or higher | 85 and up | 1350/1600 or higher | 10 |
Combined Admission Method
Candidates' admission scores are determined as follows:
DXT = Subject 1 score (multiplied by coefficient 2) + Subject 2 score + Subject 3 score.
+ Subject 1 score: English test score (for candidates registering for the international certificate orientation program or the English Language standard program) or Math test score (for candidates registering for the remaining majors of the standard program).
+ Subject 2 score: Physics or Chemistry or Literature or Math (if Subject 1 score is English) or English (if Subject 1 score is Math).
