The Army Academy honors outstanding collectives and individuals in the peak emulation period.

NDO - On December 20, in Da Lat city, Lam Dong province, the Army Academy organized a ceremony to honor and award typical advanced collectives and individuals and directly monitor the ceremony to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024) and the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2024).

Speaking at the conference, Major General Nguyen Cong Son, Deputy Commissar of the Army Academy, praised the achievements of the Academy's officers, lecturers, students, staff and soldiers during the peak emulation period.

On behalf of the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the Academy, he called on all officers and soldiers to continue to promote the tradition of the heroic unit of the People's Armed Forces, to be united, responsible, active, proactive, innovative, and creative, contributing to building a exemplary clean and strong Party organization; a smart, modern, and comprehensively strong academy that is "exemplary and typical".

The Deputy Commissar of the Army Academy commended the achievements of the Academy's officers, lecturers, students, staff and soldiers during the peak emulation period.

To celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and the 35th anniversary of National Defense Day, from July 2024, the Army Academy launched a peak emulation campaign with the theme "Proud of tradition - Continuing the feat - Worthy of the name of Uncle Ho's soldiers".

Responding to the emulation movement, Party committees and commanders at all levels have thoroughly grasped and effectively implemented resolutions, strategies and projects of the Central Committee, the Central Military Commission, and the Ministry of National Defense on education and training tasks; completed the project "Building a smart and modern Army Academy by 2030, with a vision to 2045".

Especially the motto "Students are the center, schools are the foundation, lecturers are the driving force", along with 3 breakthroughs "Best teaching quality - Strictest management, training, learning - Highest training and scientific research results" have been effectively implemented... From the emulation period, many typical and advanced individuals and groups have appeared.

At the conference, the Army Academy awarded certificates of merit to 11 groups and 80 individuals with outstanding achievements in the peak emulation movement.

Major General Do Anh Tuan, Deputy Director of the Army Academy, awarded the titles of "Outstanding Youth" and "Outstanding Women" and individuals who won high prizes at the military and national competitions in 2024.

On this occasion, the Academy also awarded the group of authors and 3 individuals who won high prizes at the national and military level competitions in 2024; 10 outstanding individuals were awarded the titles of "Outstanding Youth" and "Outstanding Women" of the Academy in 2024.
