The festival starts at 1:30 p.m. with a series of outdoor events with a market gathering student booths. This is also a place for units inside and outside the Academy to participate in the program to exchange and create their own mark at this year's festival season. The organizers also encourage booths to minimize the use of packaging and plastic items for the purpose of protecting the environment.
Halloween 2024: Equinox mixed arts show starts at 5:30pm.
The theme name "Equinox", derived from Latin, means "Equinox Point" - an astronomical phenomenon that occurs when the Sun is above the equator, resulting in equal time between day and night across the globe.
Through the balance of this natural cycle, the program wants to remind people of the parallel boundaries between light and darkness, life and death. Just as day and night cycle in cycles, human life must also go through stages of birth, maturity, decline and death. It is because death is predetermined at the end that people realize the preciousness and meaning of life.
After 19 seasons, the program has left an impression on the audience thanks to its meaningful messages. (Source: Organizing Committee) |
The program wants to convey the message: "Everyone will be grateful and cherish every moment of being present in life, live each day to the fullest and love more, live to the fullest and strive to show their own value so as not to have regrets."
In particular, the event featured two famous artists, Andiez and Hai Sam, with many attractive performances. In addition, the Organizing Committee also created a series of unique accompanying events to attract the attention of young people, including the online accompanying events "Cần" and "Chưng" taking place from October 2-11 on the program's Facebook page.
After the online companion event ends, the Organizing Committee will open a sideline activity called "Memento mori" taking place for 5 days (October 14-18), to create a playground for students to have the opportunity to meet, connect and entertain through a variety of activities.
Head of the Organizing Committee Nguyen Thi Thuy Duong said that after a long time of formation and development, the program has become one of the attractive, unique, and distinctive art events that has received a lot of attention from the media. The Organizing Committee hopes to convey truly humane and meaningful messages, create a breakthrough, as well as affirm the identity of students of the Faculty of International Relations, Academy of Journalism and Communication.
