DTO - On February 19, 2025, the Standing Committee of Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee will organize a conference to study and implement the 2025 Topic "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in improving people's knowledge and nurturing talents to meet the requirements of integration and development" (abbreviated as the 2025 Topic) for cadres and party members directly in the province and online to connecting points of units and localities throughout the province.

Over the past years, the Provincial Party Standing Committee has paid attention to organizing many training courses, fostering, updating knowledge, and conducting practical research for leaders and managers at all levels in the province, contributing to meeting the requirements of integration and development of the province.

OVERVIEW OF THE SPECIALIZED CONTENT IN 2025

Applying President Ho Chi Minh's thoughts on improving people's knowledge and nurturing talents to meet the requirements of integration and development, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission presided over and coordinated with relevant agencies to compile and publish the 2025 Special Topic to deepen the content of the full-course Special Topic "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's thoughts, morality and style on self-reliance and aspiration to develop a prosperous and happy country", especially emphasizing the importance of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's thoughts, morality and style in improving people's knowledge and nurturing talents to meet the requirements of integration and development. The 2025 Special Topic has 3 parts.

Part 1: “Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality, and style in improving people’s knowledge and nurturing talents” has 3 contents: (1) - Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality, and style in improving people’s knowledge. This is an issue that President Ho Chi Minh paid attention to implementing as soon as the country gained independence; it is a consistent content in Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality, and working style. Improving people’s knowledge must ensure the comprehensiveness and depth of people’s morality, intelligence, physique, and aesthetics; improving people’s knowledge must go hand in hand with developing education and training and improving people’s qualifications.

(2)- Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style in nurturing talents. According to him, the basic criterion for evaluating talents is a person who devotes his or her talents and strength to the revolutionary cause, serving the Fatherland and the People. Therefore, nurturing talents must be comprehensive in order to build people who are both virtuous and talented, "both red and expert"...

(3)- The Party's viewpoint on improving people's knowledge and nurturing talents to meet the requirements of integration and development. This issue is placed in a strategic position by our Party. The Party advocates comprehensive and fundamental innovation of education to improve the quality of human resources and develop people in the context of the 4.0 Industrial Revolution and international integration. At the same time, our Party affirms: "Developing education is the top national policy to improve people's knowledge, develop human resources, and nurture talents... The State prioritizes the use and development of talents"; promotes the role of leaders and personnel work, focuses on doing well the work of training and nurturing cadres; promotes the role of intellectuals as "an important factor in improving people's knowledge, training human resources, nurturing talents, raising the intelligence and strength of the nation, making great contributions to the cause of innovation, building and defending the Fatherland".

Part 2: "Promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in improving people's knowledge and nurturing talents to meet the requirements of integration and development in Dong Thap province today" has 3 contents: (1)- The necessity to promote the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in improving people's knowledge and nurturing talents in Dong Thap province today. (2)- Viewpoints and goals in improving people's knowledge and nurturing talents to meet the requirements of integration and development in Dong Thap province. (3)- Tasks and solutions to promote the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in improving people's knowledge and nurturing talents to meet the requirements of integration and development in Dong Thap province today, that is: Continuing to raise awareness of Party committees, Party organizations and authorities about the position, role and importance of improving people's knowledge and nurturing talents to meet the requirements of integration and development. Innovate education and training, vocational education to create breakthrough changes. Improve the quality of cadres, civil servants, and public employees. Improve the effectiveness and efficiency of state management in improving people's knowledge, nurturing talents to meet the requirements of integration and development. Expand cooperation and linkage in human resource development to meet local development needs. Support training and development of human resources for business management and operation, human resources serving production in all fields.

Conclusion: Affirming the good implementation of the 2025 Topic to promote the traditional values ​​of the land and people of Dong Thap; at the same time, gathering, mobilizing, and promoting human resources of the entire political system and all classes of people to build and develop Dong Thap province to become more and more civilized and prosperous; is one of the important solutions and strategic breakthroughs contributing to the successful implementation of the resolutions of the 11th and 12th Provincial Party Congresses and the following stages; actively contributing to improving people's knowledge, training human resources, and fostering talents to meet the requirements of integration and development of the province.

LEARNING AND PRACTICING THE TOPIC MUST BE SPECIFIC AND PRACTICAL

Continuing to raise awareness and actions of Party committees, Party organizations, cadres, Party members and People in the province on promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission has proactively advised the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee to organize the study and lead the implementation of the 2025 Topic. Accordingly, the 2025 Topic Study Conference will be held on February 19, 2025 (including 1 Topic study session and 1 discussion session).

The study, dissemination and propaganda of the content of the 2025 Topic will be carried out through many information channels, including effectively exploiting the Internet, social networks... to regularly and widely inform and propagate to raise awareness of cadres, party members and people about the content, value and great significance of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style on improving people's knowledge and nurturing talents to meet the requirements of integration and development of the province, from which cadres, party members and people will follow.

Local Party committees and units that develop plans to implement the content of the 2025 Topic must be linked to political tasks, considering education and training as the "top national policy", promoting the spirit of self-study and lifelong learning among cadres, party members and people, creating a breakthrough in the quality of human resources, especially high-quality human resources, meeting the requirements of integration and development. Every quarter, organize thematic activities. From the content of the 2025 Topic, build many specific topics linked to the implementation of political tasks and organize activities in the Party Committee, Party cells, socio-political organizations, agencies, units and localities; thematic activities must be linked to discussions and proposals for many implementation solutions.
