Studying and researching Marxism-Leninism

In implementing Directive No. 23-CT/TW dated February 9, 2018, of the Party Central Committee on "Continuing to innovate and improve the quality and effectiveness of studying, researching, applying, and developing Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh Thought in the new situation," the Party Committee of the Border Guard Command has led and directed its agencies and units to regularly innovate the content, programs, and methods of studying and researching Marxist-Leninist science and Ho Chi Minh Thought.

Party committees, political commissars, political officers, and commanders in the Border Guard Force regularly incorporate the content of propaganda and education on Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh Thought into Party Day activities and political and cultural activities; promote education on historical events; integrate the dissemination of the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and regulations, the traditions and history of the Party and the nation, and the process of building, fighting, and maturing of the Army and the Border Guard Force to cultivate and strengthen the working-class nature of officers, soldiers, and people in border areas. Units that prioritize learning and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style, in conjunction with implementing Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW of the Politburo, Directive No. 87-CT/QUTW of the Standing Committee of the Central Military Commission, Directive No. 855-CT/QUTW, and Resolution No. 847-NQ/QUTW of the Central Military Commission, use these results as important criteria for evaluating and ranking emulation achievements, awarding commendations, and classifying the quality of grassroots Party organizations, cadres, and Party members.

Developing and creatively applying Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh Thought to the practical realities of the Border Guard Force.

This was the directive of Major General Nguyen Anh Tuan, Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of the Border Guard, at the conference summarizing the 5-year implementation of Directive No. 23-CT/TW dated February 9, 2018, of the Party Central Committee on "Continuing to innovate and improve the quality and effectiveness of studying, researching, applying, and developing Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh Thought in the new situation," held on the morning of April 20.

Border Guard: 100% of officers achieved good or excellent results in political education teaching.

On May 8th, in Bac Giang, the Border Guard Command held the closing ceremony of the 2023 Political Education Instructor Competition at the Command level, with 100% of participating candidates achieving good or excellent results.
