At 4:30 a.m. on March 10, Tuoi Tre reporters recorded that teachers and students of Ngoc Hien High School (Ngoc Hien District, Ca Mau) were present at the campus of Can Tho University (Ninh Kieu District, Can Tho City) to prepare to attend the Admissions and Career Counseling Day.
Mr. Quach Van Ve - Vice Principal of Ngoc Hien High School - said that the whole group left at 12:30 pm to travel a distance of about 260km and have time for the children to have a "full" breakfast before the festival.
This is the sixth consecutive year the school has organized the festival for grade 11 and 12 students. This time, 100 grade 11 students attended career counseling.
"These students are always aware of career orientation so that when they reach grade 12, they do not have to "choose randomly" a career. For a long time, my school has focused on career counseling and orientation for students right from grade 11, because choosing a career is choosing their future, so they must make careful and correct choices...", Mr. Ve said.

"Most of them prepare at home the questions, which school, which major so that today the teachers can fully answer their questions...", Mr. Thong said.
139 students (including 70 grade 10 students and 50 grade 11 students) from Chi Lang High School (Tinh Bien District, An Giang) were also present very early at the counseling booths. Mr. Nguyen Phuong Binh - Vice Principal of the school - said that because the students had participated in festivals like this since grades 10 and 11, by the time they reached grade 12, they basically had their own career direction.
"On this occasion, students in grades 10 and 11 would like to register to go with the group to receive advice and exchange and experience at the festival to complete the Career Guidance Experience Program in their high school curriculum," Mr. Binh shared.
