The event is part of the cultural and learning exchange program "Vietnam - Singapore Learning and Innovation Exchange" organized by iSMART Education (a member of EQuest Education Group). The program is designed with the goal of creating a useful playground where students from both countries can exchange, learn from each other and experience the practical application of learning English.

Inspiring English learning with modern technology

The program received the attention and participation of Ms. Pham Ngoc Nhi - Deputy Head of the Department of Education and Training of District 7. In particular, the appearance of champions from the English Champion 2024 competition, "Ambassadors" in the Global Citizen Ambassadors program from iSMART. The students confidently communicated in English, shared their learning and competition experiences on iSMART's modern technology platform, inspiring other students.

With the motto of training generations of "Students who know how to share, citizens who care and leaders who dare to think and dare to do", Northland Secondary School always focuses on building a dynamic and creative learning environment.

Mr. Cheen - Vice Principal of Northland Secondary School - expressed, "Hopefully Northland students will have the opportunity to learn from iSMART Education's experience and advanced learning methods as well as Vietnamese students."

Sharing about the importance of the program, Ms. Khuong Thi Thanh - Vice Principal of Nguyen Huu Tho Secondary School also emphasized the significance of international academic exchange in expanding knowledge, developing skills and learning and exchanging between students of the two countries.

The program was an opportunity for students from both countries to experience the unique cultural beauty and Vietnamese folk games such as bamboo dancing, hopscotch, blindfolded pig beating... along with a dramatic basketball match that created interesting moments of exchange and bonding between students. In particular, Vietnamese students also gave small gifts that they prepared themselves to their Singaporean friends, expressing their warm feelings and hospitality.

English - The key to open the world of creative learning

Not only did the students build cultural bridges, they also shared their English knowledge through the application of iPRO technology - an exciting activity that combines knowledge with art. They were free to create unique dance moves to illustrate Math and Science terms, thereby turning abstract concepts into vivid and memorable images. This activity not only aroused their love of learning but also trained their teamwork skills, stimulated their creative thinking and expressive ability.

Through the exchange program with many activities using English as the main language, iSMART Education is gradually contributing to the realization of the goal of making English the second language in schools. Creating an international communication environment right from school age will help children develop foreign language skills, confidently integrate with the world, and open up many opportunities for learning and development in the future.

Mr. Mac Hoang Thong - representative of iSMART Education - emphasized that iSMART always accompanies students on their journey to adulthood, not only equipping them with knowledge but also nurturing the necessary qualities for them to confidently step out into the world, becoming global citizens with creative thinking, open-mindedness and responsibility to the community.
