Physics+ Club students welcome 10th grade students to Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted

Accordingly, about 450 students of 13 specialized 10th grade classes in the 2024-2025 school year of Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted were welcomed to the school by 11th and 12th graders through a festival with experiences of 28 clubs and projects.

After listening to the 11th and 12th graders introduce the activities and orientations of 28 clubs and projects, 10th graders experienced and played games at the booths of the clubs in the fields of culture, skills - arts, academics - information, social sciences...

At the Korean Club booth, Nguyen Bao Linh, a student of class 11A2, introduced to the new students about the club's activities and oriented the activities through participating in experiencing the typical cultural features of Korea in terms of language and cuisine.

Korean Club members connect with 10th graders through culinary experiences

Bao Linh shared: "When attracting children to experience folk games associated with typical Korean hot pot dishes and publications combining Korean and Tran Chuyen symbols, we hope to bring new images and perspectives on culture that few people know about as well as to donate funds from the revenue of typical Korean products that we personally designed for charity organizations."

At the Physics + Club booth, member Hong Minh, grade 11 physics major, shared: "To welcome the new students, we have prepared physics experiments for them to explore interesting science. When they come to study and join the club, they will work with us to create many products that apply knowledge to real life. From there, they will understand that although they are specialized students, they are very active, that is the value of Tran Chuyen school that we are aiming for."

Clubs and projects participating in the 10th grade student welcoming day

Excitedly participating in the "Kill Up" festival with students of Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted, a group of students from the English class were very surprised. One student shared: "When I came to school, I just realized that the school has so many clubs. At first, I was a bit worried because studying in a specialized school would be very 'chicken', but now I see it very differently. Students in specialized schools are not 'chickens'. The seniors in grades 11 and 12 in the clubs were very caring, not only sharing their learning experiences but also inspiring me on my first days entering a new learning environment."

Mr. Pham Thanh Yen, Vice Principal of Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted, said that through the festival, the school hopes to create a joyful and excited atmosphere for students before entering the new school year. "We encourage students to actively participate in clubs and projects so that they can work in teams, practice their skills and develop their talents," said Mr. Yen.

Grade 10 students enthusiastically participate in experiential activities at the club booths.

"The festival is also an opportunity for students to access club activities and school projects. This is an academic playground for children, from which many real-life problems in students' learning and adaptability are solved. The clubs and projects here are very diverse, including international clubs, not just within the scope of a school, helping students connect and develop," Mr. Yen emphasized.
