Opinions at the program reflected that in recent years, policies on wages and social insurance have changed a lot, aiming to ensure the rights of workers, adapt to the socio-economic situation, and at the same time enhance fairness and transparency.

In addition, salary reform not only helps increase income and improve workers' lives but also plays an important role in promoting labor productivity, motivating each individual to develop skills and contribute more to society. Along with that, recent reforms in social insurance policies such as expanding the scope of participation, increasing support for workers in maternity, retirement, and illness regimes, etc. are all aimed at ensuring better and better benefits for workers.

However, not all workers grasp and understand their rights correctly to proactively protect themselves from policy changes.

Regarding the conditions and procedures for purchasing social housing, expert Nguyen Van Ha replied: According to the Housing Law 2023, beneficiaries of social housing support policies include: People with revolutionary contributions; poor and near-poor households, workers and laborers working at enterprises, cooperatives and industrial parks; officers, professional soldiers, non-commissioned officers of the people's armed forces, police workers, civil servants, defense workers and public employees currently serving in the army, people working in key positions, people working in other key positions in key organizations receiving salaries from the state budget; students of universities, academies, colleges, vocational schools, specialized schools as prescribed by law; students of public boarding schools for ethnic minorities; enterprises, cooperatives, and cooperative unions in industrial parks; subjects who have returned official housing; Households and individuals whose land is recovered and whose houses must be cleared and demolished according to the provisions of law but have not yet received compensation from the State in the form of houses or land are also eligible to be considered for purchasing social housing.

According to the Vice Chairman of the Hanoi Bar Association, if you are eligible for social housing support policies, the next step is to prove housing and income conditions.

Regarding housing conditions, people eligible to buy social housing must be those who do not own a house in the project area; have not purchased/rented/rent-purchased social housing; have not enjoyed housing support policies in the project area; and do not live in public housing.

Regarding income requirements: For singles, the income must not exceed 15 million VND/month, and for couples, it must not exceed 30 million VND/month. To prove income, it is necessary to request confirmation of salary and wages from the agency or unit where you work (for one consecutive year, calculated from the time of application submission).

In case there is no labor contract, you can request confirmation from the People's Committee of the commune or ward where you reside.

Regarding the question of whether the project of administrative unit arrangement will affect the current residents' information and administrative procedures, expert Vu Minh Huyen said that currently, the entire project of administrative unit arrangement is to propose a plan, and is in the process of collecting opinions to complete the project dossier. Therefore, at present, citizens still carry out administrative procedures normally. After June 30, 2025, the authorities will have detailed instructions on this content.

Expert Nguyen Van Ha added: From July 1, 2025, there will be new administrative units. However, the Party and State's viewpoint up to now is that the information remains the same; it only changes when performing mandatory transactions related to administrative procedures.
