According to the report, on the morning of December 7, the homeroom teacher received a phone call from the parents of N.D.T, currently in 10th grade, asking for permission for T. to stay home from school due to an accident (the accident was not specified), and the family had to take T. to Ho Chi Minh City for treatment.
T. lost his left hand due to using firecrackers.
On the morning of December 9, the teacher reported to the Principal of Nguyen Tat Thanh High School that T. had an accident (the reason for the accident was not known due to lack of information). After that, the school directed the teacher and classmates to visit the student.
Through information on social media, students in the same class learned that T. used firecrackers and had an accident. On December 10, the homeroom teacher reported the incident to the school leadership to come up with a plan to support T. and his family.
"The incident occurred in Hung Binh commune (Dak R'lap district). The homeroom teacher said that, through information from the family, T. lost his left hand due to the explosion and is being treated in Ho Chi Minh City.
