Sharing with Dan Viet Newspaper reporter, Ms. Tran Thi Quyen, principal of Van Khe Primary School, Ha Dong District, Hanoi said that on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024) and the 35th anniversary of National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2024), the school organized many meaningful activities for students.
Accordingly, students participated in the storytelling contest "Red Journey". They directly played the role of brave soldiers, national heroes who sacrificed for the country. The image of primary school students in military uniforms made everyone feel cute and adorable.
In addition, the school's students also had a flag-raising ceremony with the theme "Following in the footsteps of our fathers and brothers". They listened to touching and heroic stories from "Uncle Ho's soldiers" who devoted their youth to serving the country.
Sharing from Kim Lien Kindergarten, Dong Da District, Hanoi: "Joining in the joyful atmosphere of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army, teachers and students of the school organized a series of meaningful activities, imbued with patriotism and gratitude to the heroes who have devoted themselves to the cause of protecting the Fatherland.
Outstanding activities include children learning about the extremely meaningful daily work of soldiers who are guarding the country day and night, participating in the activity of making their own floppy hats, expressing their love and gratitude to the soldiers... Children can participate in the game of practicing being soldiers, lining up neatly, learning about the history of the Vietnam People's Army through fascinating stories.
These activities not only help children understand more about the glorious tradition of the Vietnam People's Army but also arouse in them love for their homeland and national pride.
Exhibition and experience historical space
Huynh Thuc Khang High School, Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi organized an exhibition area and historical space experience with the theme "Proudly following the tradition of our ancestors".
The exhibition area was built based on the idea of recreating the heroic historical milestones of the Vietnamese people in the resistance wars against France and the US. The school has combined traditional display methods and applied modern technology, creating an experiential space that is both realistic and vivid.
At the exhibition area, students can admire the model of artillery in the resistance war against France; Model of tank 843 - the symbol of the historic Ho Chi Minh Campaign in the resistance war against America; The pack-cart - a primitive but effective means of transport in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign; The panorama painting "Dien Bien Phu Campaign" depicts the entire scene of the famous battle that shook the world.
In addition, the exhibition area also displays valuable historical pictures and documents, helping students have a more specific and in-depth look at the glorious feats of their ancestors. In particular, the QR code scanning activity allows students to experience the 3D space of the National History Museum and the Vietnam Military Museum, bringing vivid and realistic images right on the school campus.
In particular, teachers directly guided students to research and prepare documents and artifacts for display. Students of all grades participated with enthusiasm and positivity, not only as visitors but also as presenters and sharers of knowledge about national history.

Many students expressed their pride in experiencing and learning through these practical activities. Bui Thi Ngoc Tu, a student of class 12A10, shared: "Seeing historical models and experiencing the 3D space of the "mini" museum, I feel like I am reliving the heroic historical moments of the nation. This is a very interesting and useful way to learn history."
Nguyen Ha Anh - a student of class 11N2 expressed: "Participating in this exhibition, I feel the brave spirit and great sacrifice of our ancestors. The models, historical documents and technological experiences give me more motivation to study, follow the example of previous generations and contribute to the country".
