Hai Phong students start school on September 5

Hai Phong City will hold the opening ceremony of the new school year on September 5, 2024.

The City People's Committee assigned the Department of Education and Training to direct schools, educational institutions, and related units to implement the opening ceremony program in accordance with the direction and guidance of the Ministry of Education and Training; organize teaching and learning in accordance with Decision No. 2826/QD-UBND dated August 9, 2024 of the City People's Committee promulgating the framework of the 2024-2025 school year schedule for preschool education, general education, and continuing education in Hai Phong City.

The opening ceremony must be organized solemnly, safely, economically, practically, demonstrating the spirit of sharing and encouraging students, teachers, staff and workers to overcome difficulties and complete teaching and learning tasks.

For preschool education units, organize the opening ceremony in the form of "Children's Day to School" flexibly and creatively in terms of time and content suitable for children's psychological characteristics to create a good impression for children on the first day of the new school year.

After the opening ceremony, the affiliated units will organize teaching and learning activities from September 6, 2024. For preschool and primary education, based on the actual conditions of each school, organize teaching and learning, and boarding on the principle of consensus of parents or guardians of students.
