Today, August 20, the People's Committee of Ba Dinh District held a conference to summarize the 2023-2024 school year and deploy tasks for the 2024-2025 school year. The Department of Education and Training of Ba Dinh District was recognized by the Hanoi Department of Education and Training for 13/13 excellent work targets, ranked 2/30 districts, towns and pioneers in innovation and improving the quality of education.

In the 2023-2024 school year, the Education and Training Department of Ba Dinh District continued to achieve many outstanding achievements, especially Ba Dinh District students were always in the leading group of the city with 3,894 students winning prizes in international, national, and city-level competitions for excellent students and 3,155 students winning prizes in district-level competitions.
Specifically, Ba Dinh District students won 442 international awards, including 91 first prizes - gold medals (notably, the delegation to the 2023 World Invention and Creativity Olympiad WICO in Korea had 8 students from the district participating, all of whom won gold medals); 74 second prizes - silver medals; 111 third prizes - bronze medals; 66 consolation prizes.
Ba Dinh District students also won 2,223 national prizes, including 225 first prizes - gold medals, 628 second prizes - silver medals, 862 third prizes - bronze medals, and 508 consolation prizes. In addition, there were 1,229 city-level prizes, including 139 first prizes - gold medals.
Leaders of Ba Dinh District People's Committee commended students with excellent achievements in the past school year.
Not only achieving many achievements in major competitions, the Department of Education and Training of Ba Dinh District also strengthens international cooperation in education. In the 2023-2024 school year, there will be 5 delegations of key managers and teachers studying in Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Australia and the Philippines. At the same time, Ba Dinh District also welcomed delegations of teachers and students from the Philippines, Singapore, and Uganda to visit and exchange at schools in the area.
The Department of Education and Training of Ba Dinh District was also selected by the Hanoi Department of Education and Training to organize an experiential activity in the city-level information technology and STEM festival: "Saving the Earth against climate change with robot warriors".
Last school year, Ba Dinh District students won 442 prizes in international competitions.
Ms. Pham Thi Diem, Vice Chairwoman of Ba Dinh District People's Committee, acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts and achievements of the entire education and training sector of the district. Especially the exemplary students and groups that have excellently completed their tasks.
Ms. Diem emphasized 5 key tasks for the education and training sector to focus on implementing, noting: "Improving the quality of training and key education, investing in training a team of excellent teachers and excellent students. Paying special attention to moral education, lifestyle and life skills for students...".
The People's Committee of Ba Dinh District said that it has submitted to the People's Committee of Hanoi City a proposal to the President to award the 3rd Class Labor Medal to Kim Dong Primary School and to consider and propose awarding the Government Emulation Flag to Giang Vo Secondary School...
