After graduation, Vietnamese Studies students can take on positions such as tour guide; marketing staff, tour guide; reporter, editor; tour guide or travel manager.

In addition, students who study this major but are still passionate about pedagogy can choose to become lecturers at colleges and universities.

In addition to considering exam scores, the school's Vietnamese Studies department also enrolls students through three other methods: direct and priority admission, consideration of Hanoi National University's HSA exam results, and combined admission.

Hanoi National University of Education 2 enrolls students in Vietnamese Studies in 4 ways: considering high school graduation exam scores; considering academic transcript scores; considering direct admission; considering the results of the competency assessment exam of Hanoi National University and Ho Chi Minh City University, Hanoi National University of Education.

With the method of considering high school graduation exam scores, the Vietnamese Studies major's admission threshold is 16.1 points, with 4 exam subject combinations C00; D01; C14; D15.

This year, the University of Foreign Languages ​​(Hue University) has set the admission threshold for Vietnamese Studies based on the high school graduation exam score as 15 points. Meanwhile, the high school transcript score is 18 points. Both methods consider the subject groups D01; D14; D15.

In 2023, this major is expected to charge 350,000 VND/credit. This fee will increase by 10%, in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Ton Duc Thang University trains Vietnamese majors in two majors with the standard scores respectively: Tourism and travel with 31.4 points (A01; C00; C01; D01) and Tourism and tourism management with 31.4 points (A01; C00; C01; D01).

In 2023, in addition to considering exam scores, Ton Duc Thang University will also consider admission based on 3 other methods: considering high school transcripts, direct admission and priority, and considering the results of the competency assessment test of Ho Chi Minh City National University.

Can Tho University enrolls students in Vietnamese Studies at 2 campuses. For Vietnamese Studies at the main campus, the admission threshold is 24.63 points and at Hoa An campus, the admission threshold is 22 points. Both campuses enroll 4 exam subject groups: C00; D01; D14; D15.
