According to Dr. Ly Minh Thai, the inspection team is verifying some more information and will work with the facility owner to clarify the incident.

Previously, people filed a complaint against the Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy Clinic at 75 Nguyen Tat Thanh, Pleiku City, for signs of illegal medical examination and treatment activities.

Based on people's feedback, on the afternoon of September 30, Gia Lai Provincial Department of Health and Gia Lai Provincial Police set up a team to suddenly inspect this facility.

At that time, at the facility, there was a man claiming to be Dr. Thanh examining and consulting a customer but did not cooperate with the inspection team.

After verification, the inspection team determined that "doctor Thanh's" real name is Vo Minh Chien (28 years old), residing in Cu An commune, Dak Po district.

Vo Minh Chien claimed to have graduated with a major in culture, but it is unclear what level or school he graduated from. He did not present his degree and this "doctor" does not have a medical license.

Chien claimed to be a doctor and consulted and examined customers under the guidance of the facility's manager.

Currently, the owner of the facility is in his hometown to handle work and is not present in Gia Lai, so the Gia Lai Department of Health has sent an invitation letter to the owner of the facility to come to work to clarify related contents.

In the immediate future, the inspection team has requested the facility to immediately stop the violation, stop medical examination and treatment activities, and remove the signboard.

According to the complaint of the people, some people have been to this facility for medical examination and treatment for a large sum of money. Among them, there was a person who was examined by "Doctor Thanh" and given a treatment plan of sclerotherapy, high-frequency laser waves... for 18 million VND but the disease remained the same.
