Learn from Uncle Ho's example of saving and caring for workers.

The grassroots trade union of Trung Thanh Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company has 45 union members, including 9 Party members. Following the directives of the Company's Party Committee on implementing the study and emulation of President Ho Chi Minh's teachings, the trade union organized study sessions for all cadres and union members; linking the study and emulation of President Ho Chi Minh's teachings with assigned tasks and the implementation of campaigns and emulation movements launched by the Federation of Labor at all levels. The dissemination of information was carried out through appropriate methods such as: through various information channels, through documents for union members to read, and through recording and distributing lectures by teacher Hoang Chi Bao to union members for listening.

The company's labor union has developed a plan to disseminate and promote to its members the content and methods for studying and following President Ho Chi Minh's teachings. This includes learning virtues such as saving time in labor, using fuel efficiently to avoid waste and loss, and properly managing and protecting machinery and equipment. In particular, they will implement cost-saving measures to provide financial support to union members in difficult circumstances during holidays and festivals, and to assist union members' families during times of bereavement or celebration.

Mr. Phan Trong Cu, Chairman of the Trade Union of Trung Thanh Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company, said that while previously the company's trade union would organize a celebratory lunch after each annual review and summary conference, now the union provides cash assistance to members for lunch. This has reduced some of the food and beverage costs, and especially helped to curb the consumption of alcohol, which can lead to traffic and workplace safety hazards.

From the beginning of 2024 until now, the Trade Union has provided nearly 50 million VND in support to Mr. Nguyen Van Ngoc, a driver who was involved in a traffic accident; and donated 53 gifts to 53 union members and workers during the Lunar New Year, totaling over 18.1 million VND. In addition, the union donated 10 gifts, each worth 300,000 VND, to 10 union members and workers in difficult circumstances (those with incomes lower than the average)...

Thanks to effective propaganda work, the awareness and actions of trade union members and workers have undergone profound and widespread changes. The most outstanding example is Mr. La Duc Cuong, a Party member, trade union member, and mechanical engineer at the company. Recently, he was also the only outstanding trade union member in the city to receive a Certificate of Commendation from the Provincial Federation of Labor for his efforts in studying and following the ideology, ethics, and style of President Ho Chi Minh.

Mr. Cuong shared that he learned from President Ho Chi Minh in the smallest, simplest things, such as his work style at the company; his attitude towards work and communication with colleagues. Especially important was his awareness and responsibility in practicing frugality. As a mechanical engineer responsible for repairing machinery, equipment, and hundreds of types of vehicles and machinery for the company, he successfully researched and improved several devices to repair and replace damaged parts on construction vehicles and machinery. This contributed to saving the company the cost of purchasing new machinery and equipment.

Thanks to the efforts of the grassroots trade union organization and each union member, the Company's grassroots trade union has actively contributed to caring for and protecting the rights of its members. Currently, the salaries and benefits of union members and employees are paid fully and promptly by the Company, with salaries ranging from 5 million VND to 25 million VND per person per month. Union members have competed in excellent and creative work, contributing to the company's revenue increasing year after year. The company has also undertaken many large-scale projects outside the province, such as in Long An , Bac Giang, and Lang Son... Every year, the company receives a Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee as an outstanding enterprise.
