Tourist services are of interest to localities and are proactively directed to be implemented early to ensure the tourism environment and ensure the quality of services for tourists. Tourism communication and promotion work is carried out regularly and continuously, creating trust for large travel businesses as well as domestic and foreign tourists to choose Ben Tre as a tourist destination.

Focus on consolidating and developing tour programs and intra-provincial and intra-regional tourism routes; continue to connect provinces and cities to complete and develop the "Non nuoc huu tinh" route (Ho Chi Minh City - Tien Giang - Ben Tre - Tra Vinh - Soc Trang - Can Tho - Bac Lieu - Ca Mau) and a number of routes connecting 6 provinces: Long An - Tien Giang - Ben Tre - Vinh Long - Tra Vinh - Dong Thap... The province has also successfully organized activities to welcome the first international tourist group to the province on the occasion of New Year 2025 and the Coconut Land Culture, Sports, Tourism and Cuisine Festival; launch the Digital Cuisine Map in response to the activities to celebrate the anniversary of Ben Tre Province's Traditional Day on January 17 with the theme "Flavor of Coconut Land"; survey and grasp the operational situation of tourism businesses before and after the Lunar New Year of At Ty.

Direction for the second quarter of 2025

According to Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Thi Ngoc Dung, in the second quarter of 2025, the total revenue from tourists in the province is expected to reach VND 1,098 billion; the total number of visitors is estimated to reach 805 thousand.

To achieve the above goals, the provincial culture, sports and tourism sector will continue to implement the plan to develop community tourism in the province until 2030; the plan to develop rural tourism in the construction of new rural areas in the province for the period 2023 - 2025; the plan of the Provincial People's Committee to implement Resolution No. 82/NQ-CP of the Government on key tasks and solutions to accelerate recovery and accelerate effective and sustainable tourism development... Continue to implement the procedures for developing the Resolution of the Provincial People's Council regulating policies to support investment in tourism development in the province until 2030. Implement the contents of the Program of cooperation in tourism development between Ho Chi Minh City and 13 provinces and cities in the Mekong Delta in 2025.

Develop and implement tasks according to plan; organize a survey trip to learn from the experience of the community tourism model at Tra Que Vegetable Village (Tra Que Village, Cam Ha Commune, Hoi An City, Quang Nam Province). In the first quarter of 2025, the total number of visitors is estimated at 781,085, up 34.9% over the same period, reaching 27.7% of the plan. Of which, international visitors are estimated at 255,108, up 112.8% over the same period, reaching 22.8% of the plan; overnight visitors are estimated at 210,893, same-day visitors are estimated at 570,192. Total revenue from tourists is estimated at 1,017 billion VND, up 42.2% over the same period, reaching 26.8% of the plan. Average spending is estimated at about 1.3 million VND/visitor.
