Hoang Su Phi (Ha Giang): First time organizing "1719 Contest"

The contest was organized to concretize the tasks identified in Plan No. 57/KH-UBND dated February 1, 2024 of the People's Committee of Hoang Su Phi district, continuing to diversify the forms of dissemination, information and propaganda about the National Target Program on socio -economic development of ethnic minority and mountainous areas approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 1719/QD-TTg, dated October 14, 202.

Provide knowledge and professional skills for officials and civil servants of communes, towns, village development boards, and communities directly participating in the project in organizing and implementing the National Target Program in the area.

Promote exchange, sharing and learning of experiences, thereby improving the quality and effectiveness of Program implementation at the grassroots level.

Strengthen the attention of Party committees, authorities, departments, branches and organizations on the 3 National Target Programs in general and the National Target Program on socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas in particular.

This is also a practical activity to welcome the 4th Congress of Ethnic Minorities of Hoang Su Phi district in 2024.

Mr. Bui Thanh Huong, Head of the Ethnic Affairs Department of Hoang Su Phi district, informed that each commune and town in the district will send 01 team, with a maximum of 10 people. Of which, 50% of the team members are commune-level officials, civil servants, and public employees; 50% are from the community group, including: Key village officials, prestigious people, members of the Village Development Board, and households directly participating in the project.

The contest will be organized in the form of dramatization, based on collective results, including 04 contests: Greeting, multiple choice test, situational test, skit contest revolving around the content of the Party's policies, the State's laws and policies related to the National Target Program for socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas and specific contents directly related to the implementation of projects and sub-projects in the Program approved in Decision 1719/QD-TTg.

At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee will score and award the best teams 01 First prize of 10,000,000 VND; 02 Second prizes of 7,000,000 VND each; 03 Third prizes of 5,000,000 VND each; Consolation prize of 3,000,000 VND/prize; Sub-prize (Best greeting, best multiple choice, best situation handling, most unique skit, best skit script...) each prize of 500,000 VND.
