Welcoming the New Year of the Dragon this year, the people of Loc Ha district and Ha Tinh city are more excited when the new Ho Do bridge has been completed and put into operation, creating many conveniences in traffic. The project is part of the project to renovate the road surface and improve the technical infrastructure of Quang Trung street from Nguyen Huy Lung street to Ho Do bridge.
The newly completed Ho Do Bridge put into use contributes to creating convenience for people's travel.
The new Ho Do bridge unit (located parallel to the current Ho Do bridge) has a total investment of 157 billion VND, invested by the Ha Tinh Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board (PMU). This reinforced concrete project is more than 241m long, 11m wide (the lane for motor vehicles is 7m wide), construction started in July 2022, and technical traffic opening in early November 2023.
As the project investor, the Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board has arranged for experienced staff in the management and supervision of basic construction projects to conduct supervision right from the beginning of the project implementation.

Mr. Tran Van Tung - Director of the Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board said: "Quang Trung Road and Ho Do Bridge are the vital traffic routes connecting Ha Tinh City and Loc Ha District. The completion of the project will not only help people travel conveniently and safely but also contribute to strengthening the connection between localities in socio-economic development, especially attracting tourists to the coastal city of Loc Ha".
Along with the above project, in 2023, the Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board will also manage and operate 18 other projects. Many important traffic projects have been completed, handed over and put into operation, contributing greatly to socio-economic development.
The unit has also completed investment preparation for 3 projects with a total investment of nearly 85 billion VND; deployed the preparation of a feasibility study report for the project to build Xo Viet Nghe Tinh road extending to the East with an investment of nearly 1,500 billion VND.
Ha Tinh's transport infrastructure is increasingly invested in synchronously.
The provincial road system maintenance work has also been promptly implemented by the Ha Tinh Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board, contributing to increasing the life of the works, promoting exploitation capacity, limiting damage, minimizing traffic accidents, actively contributing to socio-economic development and ensuring national defense and security.
Regarding the 2024 task, Mr. Tran Van Tung - Director of the Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board said that the unit continues to strive to complete the political tasks assigned by the Provincial People's Committee.
