The 10th Congress of the Farmers' Association of Ha Tinh province for the 2023-2028 term started working today and closed tomorrow (September 21) at the provincial Cultural - Cinema Center.
Overview of the congress.
On the morning of September 20, the Executive Committee of the Provincial Farmers' Association held the first session of the 10th Congress of the Ha Tinh Farmers' Association for the 2023-2028 term with the participation of 224 official delegates. At the first session, the congress focused on electing the presidium, secretariat, and the delegate qualification review committee; approving the program, rules, and regulations of the congress; reporting on the delegate qualification review; reporting on the results of implementing the targets of the Resolution of the 9th Congress for the 2018-2023 term; and targets set for the 2023-2028 term.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association Tran Dinh Uoc approved the report on basic targets of the Resolution of the 9th Congress for the 2018 - 2023 term.
According to the report, the basic targets of the Resolution of the 9th Congress for the 2018-2023 term all reached over 100%. Of which, some targets achieved high results such as: Training and introducing members for the Party to admit (170%); growth of the Provincial and District Farmers Support Fund (165.3%); building effective economic models annually (142.8%); the rate of farmer households achieving the title of cultural family (127%); propagating and disseminating the Party's guidelines and policies and laws of the State (126%)...
The congress voted on the contents at the first session.
The Congress also heard a report summarizing comments on the draft political report of the Central Executive Committee of the 7th term to be submitted to the 8th National Congress of the Vietnam Farmers' Union; a report summarizing comments on the draft Charter of the Vietnam Farmers' Union (amended and supplemented).
At the first session, delegates also focused on discussing, sharing some results, good practices and proposing solutions to develop the association movement in the coming time.
Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Huong Son district, Phan Van Khanh, presented the content: "Solutions to improve the quality of propaganda work, mobilizing farmers to implement the Party's guidelines, policies, laws of the State and the tasks of the association".
This afternoon, the congress continued its program with the following contents: listening to the review report of the Executive Committee of the Farmers' Association for the 2018-2023 term; electing the Executive Committee of the Provincial Farmers' Association for the 10th term, 2023-2028 term; and thoroughly grasping some contents in preparation for the second working session. The first meeting of the Provincial Farmers' Association Executive Committee - 10th term also elected the Standing Committee, elected the Chairman, Vice Chairmen; elected the Inspection Committee and Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Provincial Farmers' Association for the 2023-2028 term.
