The Strange Duet exhibition is open to the public from 8am to 6pm daily, until December 8.

Sharing at the exhibition, artist Doan Thuy Hanh said that she chose content that vividly reflects the reality of life to "introduce" to the public in Ho Chi Minh City. In particular, the theme revolves around the world of children: from describing moments of fun, practicing musical instruments, practicing dancing... to deeply exploiting the portrait area.

Over time, Doan Thuy Hanh added themes from human descriptions to the mysterious beauty of nature, focusing on flowers such as lotus, chrysanthemum, lily, hibiscus...

From liking to draw and watch children because "they always bring peace of mind and pure love", Doan Thuy Hanh gradually "found the same thing in the flowers that I love placed in the house and outside in nature". And according to artist Nguyen Xuan Tiep - the exhibition's art advisor, "the flowers in Hanh's works call out, ring out an invitation, share romantic emotions... It can be said that nature in Hanh, of Hanh, is filled with simple beauty and nostalgia".

"Tran Dinh Khuong's works bring a gentle, elegant flavor," painter Nguyen Xuan Tiep commented.

Regarding his creative inspiration, artist Tran Dinh Khuong chose the image of carp in cultural and artistic life, spirituality or feng shui - considered a symbol of luck, prosperity, success of the owner and a source of pride in the Vietnamese mind, along with the image of the fish that exists in the memories of the 7X generation, including him, as the fighting fish.

Painters Tran Dinh Khuong (born in 1972) and Doan Thuy Hanh (born in 1974) both graduated from the Hanoi University of Industrial Fine Arts. Tran Dinh Khuong is currently a member of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association, and Doan Thuy Hanh is a member of the Women Authors Club of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association.
