On the morning of September 5, 2024, on the occasion of the opening of the new school year, Hoa Phat Group launched a program to bring clean water to schools across the country called "Journey of Water." In the first phase of the program, hundreds of water purifiers were donated to schools in the Northern and Central regions, localities where the Group has factories and farms.
“Water Journey” is a CSR program associated with the Hoa Phat Group’s 30-day healthy run. The run has the participation of 6,124 athletes who are employees of the Group. For every 1km that an athlete runs, the Group’s Board of Directors will convert it into 5,000 VND to build the “Water Journey” with practical and meaningful activities, supporting disadvantaged localities nationwide. The 30-day healthy run has accumulated over 3 billion VND, converted into 300 water purifiers, building a clean water map, gradually improving the quality of life, bringing clean water to the community.
Hoa Phat water purifier is equipped with a 10-12 core filter system, producing water that meets national standards for pure drinking water at the tap, according to QCVN 6-1:2010/BYT standards of the Ministry of Health. The RO filter uses membrane technology from the US, meeting NSF/ANSI 58 standards on food safety and drinking water hygiene of the World Health Organization, helping to filter 99.99% of bacteria. The product is warranted for up to 36 months nationwide, ensuring long-term benefits for users.
According to the plan, in the first phase, Hoa Phat will donate a total of 139 water purifiers to schools from North to South, especially in disadvantaged areas. Localities such as Ha Giang, Yen Bai, Cao Bang, Thai Nguyen, Hoa Binh, Hung Yen, Phu Tho, Bac Giang, Quang Binh, Quang Ngai, Kon Tum, Lam Dong, Binh Phuoc and other provinces will receive water purifiers from now until the end of September 2024.
