Hoa Phat was honored by Hung Yen province as a typical taxpayer.

On November 27, the General Department of Taxation and the Department of Taxation of Hung Yen province organized a ceremony to commend and award Certificates of Merit to 152 outstanding collectives and individuals who fulfilled their tax obligations well. Of which, Hoa Phat had 5 units honored: Hoa Phat Group Joint Stock Company; Hoa Phat Steel Pipe Company Branch, Hoa Phat Cold Rolling Steel Company, Hoa Phat Steel Sheet Company and Pho Noi Hung Yen Industrial Park Infrastructure Company.

Ms. Pham Thi Kim Oanh, Finance Director of Hoa Phat Group received a Certificate of Merit from the Tax Department of Hung Yen province.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Mai Xuan Thanh, General Director of the General Department of Taxation and Mr. Tran Quoc Van, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged the contributions of enterprises to the overall socio -economic development. At the same time, they commended collectives and individuals who have well implemented tax law policies, actively contributed to the State budget in 2023, and created jobs for workers. Hoa Phat Group is a large enterprise in Hung Yen province and has always been in the group with the largest tax contributions in the private enterprise sector in recent years. According to the Provincial Tax Department, the private enterprise sector contributed VND 15,284 billion in 2023, an increase of 259.6% of the estimate and 205.6% over the same period. Of which, units at Hoa Phat Group contributed VND 1,290 billion to the budget, accounting for 8.4% of the total revenue of the private enterprise sector. In the first 10 months of 2024, the total state budget revenue of Hung Yen province was 30,992 billion VND, equal to 106% of the estimate, completing the state budget revenue task in 2024. Of which, Hoa Phat Group contributed 994 billion VND, accounting for 3% of the province's revenue in 10 months of 2024. Previously, on August 15, 2024, CafeF announced the list of PRIVATE 100 - 100 private enterprises with the largest budget contributions in Vietnam in 2024 (according to actual data in the 2023 fiscal year). From 2007, the time when it was listed on the stock market to September 30, 2024, Hoa Phat has paid over 84,600 billion VND to the State Budget. Of which, in 2023 alone, it was 9,075 billion VND, ranking in the Top 3 private enterprises with the largest budget contributions in Vietnam. Hoa Phat is the leading industrial manufacturing group in Vietnam, creating jobs for nearly 33,000 workers who have been operating and contributing to the state budget in 26 provinces and cities across the country. In the first 9 months of 2024, Hoa Phat paid more than 10,000 billion VND to the state budget, higher than the amount paid in the whole year of 2023. Linking its development with the community, in the past 9 months, Hoa Phat has also carried out many charity and social programs. Typically, supporting localities to build 1,500 houses for people in difficult circumstances, donating more than 300 water purifiers to schools and medical facilities nationwide, sponsoring the construction of new schools, supporting orphans, children with congenital heart disease, etc.
