Right in the first months of 2024, grassroots Party organizations under the Hoa Lu District Party Committee have focused on recruiting new Party members. Many Party Committees have a high rate of recruiting new Party members compared to the set target.
In the first quarter of 2024, Ninh My Commune Party Committee admitted 7 new party members, reaching more than 53% of the yearly plan and is one of the grassroots party organizations with the highest number of newly admitted party members in Hoa Lu district.
Comrade Luu Xuan Tinh, Secretary of the Ninh My Commune Party Committee, said: In 2024, the Commune Party Committee aims to admit 13 new Party members. Currently, the commune is continuing to prepare Party admission records for 4 outstanding people and is striving to complete this target by September this year. To achieve the goal, the Commune Party Committee focuses on creating sources for developing new Party members, discovering, nurturing, training, and helping the masses, especially the masses in village Party cells and schools.
At the same time, the village Party cells were directed to create conditions for young people preparing to join the army to attend Party awareness training classes, participate in local activities and movements, and monitor and train Party admissions. Therefore, this year is the first year that Ninh My has 100% of young people admitted to the Party before leaving for the army to defend the Fatherland.
Identifying the work of admitting party members as an important and regular task in the work of Party building as well as in the leadership and direction of the Party Committee and Party Cells, in order to contribute to increasing the fighting strength and ensuring the inheritance and development of the Party, from the beginning of the year, Hoa Lu District Party Committee has directed Party committees and Party organizations at all levels to focus on synchronously implementing tasks and solutions to do a good job of admitting party members.
Comrade Bui Thien Thi, Secretary of Hoa Lu District Party Committee, said: The Standing Committee of the District Party Committee has issued a document on strengthening the direction of implementing the plan to admit new party members in 2024. The Standing Committee of the District Party Committee organized a thematic conference on Party development work, assigning specific admission targets to each grassroots party organization.
In order to ensure that the source of recruitment is expanded in terms of composition, the District Party Committee requires grassroots party organizations to pay attention to, care for, train, and recruit Party members, youth union members, women's union members, farmers, veterans, workers, young people recruited for military service, demobilized soldiers returning to their localities, and workers in enterprises.
At the same time, continue to pay attention to mobilizing dignitaries, officials, monks, and business owners to join the Party. The District Party Committee also assigns and directs district-level Party Committee members to regularly closely monitor their areas of responsibility; promptly grasp and resolve difficulties and obstacles in the work of developing Party members. The results of implementing the Party member admission target are an important basis for evaluating and classifying the year-end emulation for collectives and individual leaders and managers, especially for heads of Party Committees.
In order to achieve good results in developing new Party members, the District Party Committee also directed the District Party Committee's Organization Board to proactively coordinate with the District Party Committee's Propaganda Board and the District Political Center to develop a plan to foster Party development resources. As a result, in the first quarter, the District Political Center coordinated to organize 3 training courses for Party admission for 185 outstanding people, including 1 training course for outstanding members of the High School Youth Union in the district.
Based on the leadership and direction of the District Party Committee, Party committees and Party organizations at all levels in the district have developed specific and drastic plans for developing Party members from the beginning of 2024 with synchronous and effective measures and solutions. In particular, strengthening propaganda and political and ideological education for cadres, Party members, union members, association members and the masses about the position and importance of developing Party members.
Focus on leading and directing Party cells and socio-political organizations to do a good job of coordinating training and creating sources of Party members. Direct Party cells and mass organizations to actively carry out patriotic emulation movements and activities in localities, agencies and units. Through that, discover and select exemplary and prestigious union members, association members and the masses to introduce to the Party for consideration and admission.
With specific and practical solutions, the work of admitting party members in Hoa Lu district has achieved positive results. By the end of the first quarter of this year, the whole district had admitted 41 new party members (including 35 new recruits), reaching 25.9% of the yearly plan, bringing the total number of party members of the district Party Committee to 5,197. The quality of newly admitted party members is increasingly high and expanding in terms of composition and religion.
This result has created an important driving force for Hoa Lu to soon complete and over-fulfill the plan to admit party members in 2024 and effectively implement Resolution No. 21-NQ/TW of the 13th Party Central Committee on strengthening, consolidating, building grassroots party organizations and improving the quality of party members in the new period.
