Miss Vietnam Nguyen Cao Ky Duyen crowned Miss Universe Vietnam 2024

As expected, Miss Vietnam 2014 Nguyen Cao Ky Duyen was crowned Miss Universe Vietnam 2024. She is the first person to win the two biggest beauty contests in the country.

Immediately after being crowned, Miss Ky Duyen donated 500 million VND to help people in the North overcome storms and floods. She will represent Vietnam at Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico this coming November.

The final night of Miss Universe Vietnam 2024 took place on the evening of September 14 at Phu Tho Stadium (District 11, Ho Chi Minh City). During the final, the people of the North were suffering heavy losses due to Typhoon Yagi, so the organizers decided to cancel the swimsuit competition and instead perform the Ao Dai competition.

After the top 5 interview, the organizers announced the top 3: Nguyen Quynh Anh, Vu Thuy Quynh, Nguyen Cao Ky Duyen. They continued to compete in the interview, answering the common question: "Beauty contests are essentially just entertainment. The crowned beauty cannot represent the beauty of women in a country. Do you agree or disagree with this point of view?"

Ky Duyen confidently and decisively presented: "The beauty of a girl cannot represent the women of a country, but her story can inspire everyone. 10 years ago, I was crowned Miss Vietnam. 10 years later, I used all my courage and bravery to realize my ideal, wishing to shout out the two words Vietnam in the international arena. With this ideal, I believe I can encourage young people to live their ideals to the fullest. This is the premise for the country to become stronger."

In the end, Ky Duyen was crowned Miss Universe Vietnam 2024, becoming the owner of the crown named "Million Dollar Mission".

New Miss Ky Duyen (born in 1996, from Nam Dinh) is 1.76m tall, with measurements of 86-60-95cm. Ky Duyen was Miss Vietnam 2014. After 10 years, she decided to participate in Miss Universe Vietnam 2024, surprising her fans.

In the competitions before the semi-finals, due to the pressure of returning to a competition, Ky Duyen did not perform as well as expected and was not highly appreciated. With more than 10 years of experience on the catwalk, on the final night, Ky Duyen broke through in the important competitions to win the highest victory.

The title of 1st Runner-up belongs to beauty Nguyen Quynh Anh. She was born in 1999, from Hanoi), 1m73 tall, with measurements of 82 - 63 - 93cm. She is currently a model, has an outstanding figure, good performance skills, and fluent communication skills.

Before this contest, Quynh Anh won the Supermodel Me - I am Asian Supermodel 2021 Champion, The Face Vietnam 2018 Runner-up, Top 10 Face Of Asia 2019.
