After nearly a week of being crowned Miss International 2024 , Miss Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy has returned home.
During a press conference on the afternoon of November 18, the beauty queen was moved to receive a warm welcome from the Vietnamese audience. She was happy to bring home the Miss International crown for the first time.

Talking about her victory, Thanh Thuy felt she completely deserved it because it was her own effort after a training process. The beauty queen considered all the contestants in the competition as strong opponents so she did not compare herself with anyone.
"In a contest, I feel that each representative will have their own beauty and strengths. The most important thing is that I need to focus on improving myself. The Miss International Organizing Committee always tells contestants to always be themselves and express their personality. That is what I remember throughout my participation in this contest.
Maybe some people will find me a bit mischievous and childish, which is not suitable for the contest's criteria, but that is my personality. But thanks to that, the contest's organizers respect and appreciate that I always dare to express myself," the beauty queen shared.
Before the contest, Thanh Thuy was predicted by a famous beauty page to be crowned. This made the beauty queen happy but also pressured. However, that was what made her try harder on each day of the contest. She felt happy and lucky to always receive support from the audience.
Responding to her excellent performance in the final night, Thanh Thuy confided that she had prepared and learned a lot of knowledge about education. She herself knew that the Miss International organization was very interested in this field, so she studied and learned very carefully.

In the past few days, Miss Thanh Thuy stayed in Japan to participate in some activities after being crowned Miss International. She and other international runners-up conducted a media tour, visited the headquarters of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), met with the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan, and interacted with students in Nagoya city...
In the coming time, Thanh Thuy will start some plans in Vietnam. The beauty queen wants to try to connect and exchange Japanese and Vietnamese cultures. She will make trips to connect students, meet Vietnamese people in Japan... During her 1-year term, Thanh Thuy wants to do as much as possible to strengthen the relationship between Vietnam and Japan.
Regarding community projects, she will continue to implement the project of providing clean water to people in saline areas. In addition, Thanh Thuy will expand the system to more locations and continue to maintain it in the future, building it into a sustainable project.
Besides, Thanh Thuy will also support people in improving their quality of life, organizing medical examinations, awarding scholarships to disadvantaged children...
In the coming days, Thanh Thuy will return to Da Nang - her hometown. She wants to visit her school, friends and teachers on the occasion of November 20. After that, the beauty queen will also have other plans to coordinate with the Da Nang Youth Union to carry out.

Mr. Stephen Inventor-Díaz - Communications Director of Miss International - also came to Vietnam with Thanh Thuy this time. He commented that Miss Thanh Thuy possesses all the qualities to become Miss International 2024. He emphasized that the victory of the Vietnamese representative was very convincing.
"Before being crowned, Thanh Thuy was already Miss Vietnam 2022. Once she becomes Miss, she will be aware of her actions and always be meticulous when participating in beauty contests. She also spent time doing many meaningful community projects. Her ability to shape herself and gain a certain confidence when entering the contest is the deciding factor for her victory," he said.
He said that in the coming time, he will accompany the beauty queen in her plans in Vietnam. After that, Thanh Thuy will carry out projects abroad to fulfill her mission as a Miss International as well as promote the organization.

Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy was born in 2002 in Da Nang. The beauty is 1m76 tall. Before being crowned Miss International 2024, she won the crown of Miss Vietnam 2022.
Thanh Thuy won the Miss Student Award of the University of Foreign Languages (University of Danang in 2021), 1st Runner-up of the Elegant Students - Students of Danang contest in 2021 and was one of 36 students participating in the student exchange program at Ubon Ratchathani University, Thailand.
Thanh Thuy is currently studying at two universities: University of Foreign Languages (University of Danang) and Greenwich University Vietnam. She has basic communication skills in English and Korean.
During her 2 years as Miss Vietnam, Thanh Thuy actively participated in artistic and community activities, participating in many projects to help people in difficult circumstances.
