Miss Thanh Thuy rides a double-decker bus, fans ride motorbikes to cheer

After the historic victory at Miss International 2024, on the morning of November 18, Miss Thanh Thuy returned to Vietnam to share the joy with her fans at home. At 9:30 a.m., Thanh Thuy appeared radiantly at the international terminal of Tan Son Nhat Airport (HCMC). The beauty wore a traditional ao dai, light makeup, and showed off her sweet beauty in front of the media. From early morning, hundreds of spectators were present at the airport to welcome the 2002-born beauty back to the country. Tu Hua Gia Minh (20 years old) arrived at the airport at 8am and shared: "Thanh Thuy's victory has shown the world that Vietnamese women are not only beautiful but also talented, knowledgeable and brave. Following Thanh Thuy since she was crowned Miss Vietnam 2022 until now, I see that she is a perfectionist and hard-working person. In the face of gossip about her beauty, Thanh Thuy is still strong and resilient to prove herself worthy."
Many fans of Thanh Thuy brought national flags and banners to the airport to wait for the new beauty queen. Fans surrounded Thanh Thuy as soon as she appeared. The airport security team and crew had to constantly coordinate and distance the crowd to create a path for the beauty. Thanh Thuy took a photo with Mr. Stephen Inventor-Díaz (Communications Director of Miss International) and Ms. Pham Kim Dung (Director of Sen Vang Company) at the airport. At 9:50 a.m., Miss Thanh Thuy left the airport, boarded a double-decker bus and paraded through the streets of Ho Chi Minh City to celebrate her victory. Thanh Thuy and her crew traveled on a double-decker bus passing through several famous locations such as the Independence Palace, Nguyen Hue walking street, President Ho Chi Minh Statue located at the city's Administrative Center, Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, Bach Dang wharf... Many fans rode their motorbikes to cheer and encourage Thanh Thuy. Especially, when the car passed by some schools during break time, students rushed to the windows and called the beauty queen's name. People on both sides of the road also came out to watch, waved, cheered... Thanh Thuy's bright smile when being welcomed by people and fans on the street. The double-decker bus took the beauty queen through the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, one of the city's famous landmarks. The final stop of the parade was Truong Sa Street (Binh Thanh, Ho Chi Minh City). After the parade ended, on the afternoon of November 18, Miss Thanh Thuy will meet with the media to share about her journey to conquer the title of Miss International 2024 in Japan. Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy was born in 2002, from Da Nang. Before being crowned Miss International, she was crowned Miss Vietnam 2022, won Miss University of Foreign Languages, 1st Runner-up Talented and Elegant Students (Da Nang). The beauty is 1.75m tall, with measurements of 80-63-94cm. Miss International 2024 was a student at the University of Foreign Languages (Da Nang University) and was one of 36 students of the school selected to participate in a student exchange program with Ubon Ratchathani University (Thailand).
